Remember the BMW vs Audi billboard war several years ago? Audi put a billboard up challenging BMW with the then new B8 A4. BMW replied and admittedly won with a brilliant response.
Fast forward about a decade. A BMW dealer in Tunisia, obviously still basking in the long ago win, decided to place a billboard in front of Ennakl Automobiles, a VAG dealer who sells Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT, Porsche, and Skoda.
As mon français is nonexistent, I had to ask my wife, who lived in Paris at one point in her life, to translate. Il n’est jamais trop tard pour changer d’avis means It’s never too late to change your mind. Ouch.
Fortunately, Audi is a quick thinking machine and trolled the merde out of BMW.
On ne change pas une marque qui gagne means We do not change a brand that wins.
