There’s no doubt that many Audi aficionados yearn for the now bygone days of the brand of the four rings tearing it up at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Alas, there were no Audi LMP prototypes taking it to Toyota in last month’s round-the-clock effort, but the Project Cars driving video game platform aims to help you deal with the loss.
‘Spirit of Le Mans’ is the platform’s latest content pack, available for the current-generation Project Cars 2 video game. Project Cars has been a longtime favorite of driving sim fans and gamers, and their attention to detail means more than just the typical game rat will appreciate the final product. Take a look at the video below and you’ll see why. This latest pack is available as a stand alone download or part of a Project Cars Season Pass, and it’ll give you access to various generations of the Le Mans circuit and also cars from throughout history.
Given the pack is a nod to all of Le Mans history and not just Audi, there’s more to this new mix of vehicles than Ingolstadt’s finest. Even still, there are some Audis in the mix as you would expect. This include the Audi R18 (Fuji 2016 spec and Le Mans 2016 spec), in addition to other Audi racers already in the game.
Project Cars 2 is compatible with Playstation 4, PC and Xbox One.
