Formula 1 fans heading to Austin later this month will have plenty to keep them entertained. There will obviously be some great racing at Circuit of the Americas, but Audi is offering another reason to make the trip, and this one involves considerably better food than you are likely to find at the concession stand.

Audi of America and 1 Hotels are teaming up with three-Michelin-starred SingleThread for an exclusive dining experience during United States Grand Prix weekend. Called Driven by the Journey, An Evening with SingleThread, the event will run October 22-24 at the newly opened 1 Hotel Austin.

A Five-Course Menu

Guests will be treated to an exclusive five-course menu created by SingleThread, the acclaimed Sonoma County restaurant founded by Chef Kyle Connaughton and Katina Connaughton. SingleThread is also Audi’s Official Automotive Partner, so the collaboration goes beyond simply finding an impressive restaurant to feed hungry race fans.

SingleThread takes a farm-driven approach to its food, combining ingredients from its own farm with influences from the Connaughtons’ experiences in California, the UK, and Japan. The restaurant has earned three Michelin stars and was named La Liste’s number-one restaurant in the world in both 2025 and 2026. In other words, this is quite a few steps above grabbing some chicken fingers between practice sessions.

The dinner also coincides with an expanded partnership between Audi and 1 Hotels. Audi will continue as the Official Automotive Partner for the hotel brand’s U.S. properties, including the new Austin location. Audi vehicles will also become part of the hotel experience through house-car service and curated local drives.

The timing is particularly appropriate. Audi is in the middle of its first Formula 1 season, making the United States Grand Prix weekend an increasingly important stage for the brand. The dinner gives Audi another opportunity to connect with enthusiasts away from the circuit while emphasizing the precision, craftsmanship, and sustainability themes shared by the three partners.

Reservations for the October 22-24 dinners are open now, although availability is limited.

Audi may be chasing championship points on the track, but it sounds like the brand already has dinner figured out. Between Formula 1 cars screaming around COTA and a five-course meal from one of the world’s best restaurants, this might be the rare race weekend where what happens after the checkered flag is almost as exciting as the race itself.
