The Singapore Grand Prix already stands apart from just about every other race on the Formula 1 calendar. Cars blasting through city streets under the lights create one of the most spectacular settings in motorsports. This year, Audi F1 wants to bring some of that excitement beyond the circuit.
Audi Revolut F1 Team has announced “The Art of Influence,” a race-week program that will spread F1-themed activities across Singapore. Better yet, many of them won’t require a Grand Prix ticket. Audi is partnering with local businesses and its global partners to combine Formula 1 with food, fashion, running, shopping, and public race viewing. And yes, there’s even Audi F1 gelato.
Drivers Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hülkenberg teamed with Singapore’s Birds of Paradise botanical gelato brand to create a special flavor called GABICO, a combination of their first names. It will be available at the company’s Craig Road and Beach Road locations from October 3 through 11.
Audi F1 Takes Over Singapore
Cars haven’t been forgotten. From October 8 through 11, an Audi R26 show car will greet visitors at Funan Mall, where an RS 5 will also be displayed. Fans will be able to check out a special Singapore collection created with adidas, and Audi says its drivers will make a public appearance at the mall.
Elsewhere, Audi House of Progress will feature another RS 5 alongside a collaboration with Burnt Ends Bakery and Michelin-starred chef Dave Pynt. Fans looking for something more active can join a four-kilometer community run on October 11, while Paulaner Brewery will host public Grand Prix viewing sessions throughout the race weekend.
Audi is tying everything together digitally. Fans can collect Audi F1 Team Cards by visiting participating locations and completing activities. Each card also earns an entry into a drawing in which one winner and a guest will receive a VIP trip to the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Audi has talked repeatedly about bringing fans closer to its new Formula 1 program. In Singapore, it’s taking that idea literally. You don’t need a paddock pass, or even a race ticket, to get a taste of Audi F1.
And in this case, “taste” might mean gelato.
