Audi Club North America’s Most-Read Stories of 2025
Grab the lyrics to Auld Lang Syne, pick up a bottle of champagne and cook yourself some pork and sauerkraut, we are about to welcome in a whole new year. We have much to look forward to in 2026, but before we turn the page we want to look back at 2025.
We took a look at the data and found the most popular stories on the Audi Club North America website in 2025. To honor the arrival of 2026, we selected the top six most popular stories. These are what you all found the most interesting in 2025. Do you have a favorite story that isn’t included on the list? If so, please let us know what story you enjoyed the most. 1. Audi of America Confirms U.S. Specs for New Q5
On April 25 we shared with you all the full pricing and specification details for the all-new 2025 Audi Q5 model lineup. The Q5 is the most popular Audi model so it should not be much of a surprise that it was the most popular story of the year for us.
2. New Q9 and Redesigned Q7 to Arrive in 2026
On June 10 we passed along a report from Edmunds that Audi has officially announced that a fully redesigned Q7 SUV will arrive in late 2026, alongside an all-new, larger Q9 model. There has been quite a bit of buzz around the Q9 since. We expect Q9 news to once again be among the most popular news items in 2026.
3. Next-Gen Audi RS 6 To Provide V8 and EV Powertrain Options
June was a busy month for us. On June 25 we shared an Autoblog report that stated that the new RS 6 Avant would be offered in both a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version with a twin-turbo V8 and a fully electric RS 6 e-tron. Later in the year we got word that the e-tron version was being cancelled. But we eagerly await the next-generation RS 6.
4. TDI Hybrid: Audi Launches Next-Gen V6 Diesel for Q5 and A6 Series
The most recent article on our list is the November 30 piece about the next-generation Audi diesel for the Q5 and A6 models. Sadly, these new TDI engines will not be coming to our shores. However, Audi is obviously still working on diesel engines so maybe someday we will get a new TDI over here.
5. First Drive: 2025 Audi Q5 & SQ5
Another big June article. This one came out on June 11, and it was a special one. We had the opportunity to experience the new 2025 Q5 and SQ5 first-hand on the mountain roads surrounding Aspen, Colorado. We were impressed with the vehicles and had a lot to say about them. So much so that we included a more detailed review in the third quarter issue of quattro Magazine.
6. Spotted: Audi Q9 Prototype Reveals More Details of Audi’s Upcoming SUV
This is our second article on this list related to the Q9. Clearly, folks are excited about this new model. On May 19 we shared some spy photos of the new Q9. It was our best look yet and what is going to be the largest SUV from Audi.
So, that is it. Our most popular articles from 2025. What will our 2026 most popular list look like? Probably something related to Formula 1, and we would not bet against more Q5 or Q9 news making the list. It should be a fun year.
