Audi Club North America 34th National Event from August 8 – 12, 2018, Tacoma, WA

words: Dan Garber

Audi Club Northwest is excited to announce ‘Audi Club Nationals 2018: The Pacific Northwest Experience’! The Pacific Northwest offers a natural beauty and charm unlike any other part of the country and we’re excited to invite our fellow Club members from near and far to come and experience it firsthand!

Local driving tours will provide ample opportunity to experience the greater Seattle and Olympic Peninsula area. From Puget Sound to Rainier National Forest to Mount St. Helens to nearby rivers and waterfalls, amazing scenery and fun roads will deliver sights and scenes you’ll never forget.

The area has come to be known for its amazing food, beer and wine in addition to its natural beauty, and we’ll ensure you’re prepared to experience all of the best of the best during the 5-day event. For those looking for something more, self-guided tours to local landmarks and restaurants/breweries/wineries will also be offered.

The Pacific Northwest also offers many high-quality race tracks, the newest being The Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, WA. The Ridge, as it’s known, opened in 2012 and is a 2.47mile road course that features 16 turns, over 300 feet of elevation change that is marked by an exhilarating 50′ plunge down the ‘Ridge Complex’. For those interested in driving one of the newest tracks in the country and turning the speed up, there will be 2 days of HPDE driving at The Ridge on Saturday and Sunday.

Friday night will feature a banquet at the famous LeMay America’s Car Museum where you’ll have the chance to see over 200 vintage cars while socializing with your fellow enthusiasts from across the country.
