Hello again Audi aficionados! Thank you for reading another Auction Watch where we’ve done the internet searching for you. We’ve checked multiple online car auction sites looking for Audi models worthy of your bids. Typically each Thursday we post those listings calling out a car’s highlights and include a few pictures and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi that you’re looking for in time for you to bid on it.
First off, that 1 of 20 2012 Audi R8 Exclusive Selection Edition Coupe on BaT last week bid to $65k then the highest bidder is given the opportunity to raise their bid (per C&B) which happened. Ultimately, it sold to a dealer for $72k (not including buyer’s premium) so it will likely be on the market again soon.
There are a hat-trick of imports in this week’s 15 listings. First is a Japanese market 1999 S4 that’s a lesson why one should also do thorough research when buying a vehicle like this. Read the listing’s comments for details. Next up is a 2000 RS 4 Avant German import with some significant modifications. And finally, a 1995 S6 Avant imported from Italy by the previous owner. A low-mileage 2015 R8 Spyder with a V8 and 6-speed manual along with a 2012 R8 V10 Coupe with a 6-speed are two of the nicest car this week. There are also four more 4-series cars from three generations. If you’re looking for a murdered out, performance built, stuff hauler there’s a 2013 Q7 TDI that looks ready to rock. 1999 Audi S4 (Total Miles In Question)

No Reserve. This Japanese-market import came to the US in October 2024. The total miles are in question because a Japanese Vehicle History Report flagged a significant odometer reading change between August 28, 2024, and September 6, 2024, and labeled it a rollback. Once informed, the selling dealer changed the auction to no reserve. This is a perfect example of why you must always do your own research when buying a vehicle.
The exterior is period popular Light Silver metallic, the black interior has Nappa leather seats, carbon fiber trim, no sunroof, and a Pioneer CD stereo. The twin-turbo 2.7L V6 was factory rated at 265HP/295 lb-ft when new and spins a 6-speed manual with a Torsen center diff for the quattro.
2000 Audi RS 4 Avant (208,500 Kilometers)

As seen in Tuesday’s Find of the Day, this is the second import, an uber Avant from Germany finished in Avus Silver pearl. The black interior has Onyx Valcona leather front Recaro seats and split-folding rear bench seats, carbon fiber trim, and an Audi Concert cassette stereo. It rides on H&R Ultralow coilovers, stops with RS 6-spec front brakes, and rolls on one-off Rotiform 19″ BUC wheels wearing 255/35 Advanta tires. The OEM 9-spoke wheels, suspension components, and service records are included in the sale. The 2.7L V6 is equipped with twin BorgWarner K04 turbochargers, has an ECS Tuning coilpack conversion, runs a custom ECU tune, and exhales into Wagner downpipes linked to a Stuber exhaust.
2012 Audi A7 (134,000 Miles)

No Reserve. While is looks a bit like silver, this sportback is actually Quartz Gray metallic but it’s what lies underneath the hood that makes this a sleeper. The 3.0L supercharged V6 is modified with a Jackal Motorsport Stage 2+ ECU tune, a MercRacing intercooler, a Garage Auto Sports 84-mm throttle body, a CWA100 coolant pump, and CTS Turbo downpipes. Those are just the highlights, please read the listing for all the details. It’s a Premium Plus trim-level car and has black leather seats, aluminum trim, and Bose sound. Carfax reports four owners and no accidents or damage. The seller reports that a coolant pump OBD error code is present due to the aftermarket coolant pump.
2009 Audi A5 Coupe 3.2 (110,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This early A5 2-door is listed as silver and is equipped with an S line package and a 3.2L V6 that was factory rated at 265HP/243 lb-ft when new. A 6-speed manual and quattro complete the drivetrain. The black interior has leather/perforated Alcantara seats, Audi Advanced Key, Audi Side Assist blind-spot monitoring, and Audi MMI infotainment with navigation. Carfax reports four owners and no accidents or damage.
2000 Audi S4 (142,500 Miles)

No Reserve. Some red cars are now even faster than when they were made and this is one of those. The Laser Red exterior is showing its age but the many significant mods underneath may make up for it. Please read the listing for the numerous details and also the Known Flaws section for items that need to be addressed. The Carfax report is tainted by a theft in May 2010 and open recall #69BT for the Driver Front Airbag Inflator, but no accidents or damage are reported. You should buy new tires before sampling the horsepower.
2008 Audi A4 Avant (246,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This long roof is listed as black over black, maybe to save room to cover the mods. The drivetrain highlights are a Borg Warner K04 turbocharger, a JHM intercooler and downpipe, revised connecting rods and bearings, Bosch fuel injectors, United Motorsport engine management software, and a JHM flywheel and RS 4-spec clutch kit for the 6-speed manual. There’s also a lot of chassis mods so please read the entire listing for all the details. The downside is the four Carfax damage reports but I have to believe two are the same thing.
2007 Audi RS 4 (62,500 Miles)

No Reserve. This fast sedan is Phantom Black pearl over black with an interior that features leather seats, carbon fiber trim, a Premium Package, and a Pioneer head unit as the car’s only mod. The Dynamic Ride Control is still in place. The 4.2L V8, Audi rated at 420HP/317 lb-ft when new, spins a 6-speed manual. Carfax reports only two owners and no accidents or damage but there are a few exterior flaws listed under Known Flaws.
2015 Audi R8 Spyder (14,000 Miles)

The low-mileage spyders keep coming to market, this one is equipped with the 4.2L V8 (430HP/317 lb-ft) and it spins the desirable 6-speed manual. There’s a bit of a stormtrooper theme here with the Ibis White paint contrasted by the Audi Exclusive Black Optic Package, black soft top, and black later-model R8 20″ Y-spoke wheels. Ceramic Pro clear paint protection film was applied to the front bumper cover, front trunk lid, headlights, front fenders, mirror caps, and areas behind the rear wheels in August 2024. The black cabin has leather/Alcantara seats, a rearview camera, and an Audi Concert stereo. The original Titanium 19″ wheels come with the sale and the Carfax report is clean. (Please forgive the error in the photo credit, this is a 2015 model year car.)
2014 Audi S4 (95,000 Miles)

This Phantom Black with Black Optics B8.5 sedan has many typical mods seen on this platform: an APR air intake, an EPL Stage 1 ECU tune, JH Motorsports 187mm crank pulley, and a Eurozone Tuning strut tower brace. Please read the listing for a few more choice additions. Drivetrain: 3.0L supercharged V6, 6-speed manual, optional Sport diff, and of course, quattro. The black interior has Nappa leather seats, Audi MMI Navigation plus, B&O sound, a heel-hole in the driver’s footwell, and a sagging headliner. Carfax reports minor damage to the left rear in August 2017 and minor damage to the left front, left side, and left rear in January 2018. There are also some dents pointed out in a few listing photos.
2013 Audi Q7 TDI (138,000 Miles)

No Reserve. I have a hard time referring to an SUV as a truck, but this Orca Black metallic, Prestige trim-level Gen 1 Q7 is certainly trick. The 3.0L turbodiesel V6 now runs a Malone a Stage 2 ECU tune and exhales into Rawtek exhaust components. The 8-speed Tiptronic shifts to a Malone TCU tune. Please read the listing for details on the engine service done since 2022. It’s equipped with S line, S line plus, Technology, and Towing packages. In the roomy black interior are leather seats, WeatherTech floor mats, and an infotainment module that operates intermittently so a replacement Audi 5F module is included in the sale. Carfax reports five owners and no accidents or damage.
1995 Audi S6 Avant (238,000 Kilometers)

No Reserve. The exterior of this Italian import is painted Indigo Blue Metallic (LZ5U). Inside the black interior the leather seats and various panels are showing their age with wear and tear (literally), a Pioneer stereo is installed, and some of the wood trim pieces are cracked. The turbocharged 20-valve 2.2L I5 was factory rated at 227HP/258 lb-ft when new and spins a 5-speed manual with a Torsen center diff for the quattro drive. A spare set of wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Blizzak tires is included in the sale.
2012 Audi R8 V10 Coupe (23,000 Miles)

A naturally-aspirated 5.2L V10 engine, 6-speed manual gearbox, and Phantom Black metallic paint that’s not perfect but still nice—I’d call this coupe a high-quality driver. I find it interesting that the mirror covers and engine surrounds are carbon fiber but the side blades are body color. There’s also Carbon Sigma inlays in the black cabin that has Nappa leather seats with red stitching, an Alcantara headliner, parking aid plus with a rearview camera, and B&O sound. The aforementioned V10 is Audi rated at 525HP/391 lb-ft. The chassis is now suspended by H&R Springs coilovers. The clean Carfax reports three owners and the Lemon Squad inspection report found no serious issues.
2019 Audi TT Coupe (26,000 Miles)

The Glacier White metallic outside covers a black driver-focused cabin with Palomino Brown Fine Nappa leather seats, Audi MMI touch infotainment with Navigation Plus, Audi Phone Box wireless charger, and B&O sound. The turbocharged 2.0L I4 in the base coupe is factory rated at 228HP/258 lb-ft and pairs with a 7-speed S tronic. The Carfax report is clean and lists two California owners.
2012 Audi S5 Cabriolet (16,000 Miles)

That’s not black, it’s Moonlight Blue metallic, with a black soft top, over a black interior that has Silk Nappa leather S Sport seats, stainless steel mesh inlays, Audi MMI Navigation plus, and B&O sound. The drivetrain is a supercharged 3.0L V6, factory rated at 333HP/325 lb-ft when new, a 7-speed S tronic, and an optional Sport diff for the rear axle. Carfax reports minor damage to the front in March 2015 and three previous owners.
2017 Audi S6 (126,000 Miles)

This full-size Brilliant Black metallic sedan has seen some miles and the exterior have a few dents and dings to show for it. Please see the listing’s Known Flaws section for details. It’s a Prestige trim-level car equipped with Driver Assistance, Cold Weather, and Black Optic packages. The otherwise black interior has Arras Red Valcona leather seats, carbon twill inlays, and Bose Surround sound. The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 (450HP/406 lb-ft) exhales into an aftermarket exhaust, the car’s only mod. Carfax reports minor damage in May 2025. The seller states that the passenger-side quarter panel, quarter glass, rear glass, sill molding, and rear wheel were damaged and subsequently replaced.
