Hello again Audi enthusiasts! Do you find yourself searching through the internet’s multiple car auction sites looking for a specific model? While it can be fun, it does consume valuable time you could spend planning all your Audi Club adventures for 2024. So let us do some of the work for you. Auction Watch monitors online auction sites for Audi models worthy of your bids. Normally it’s on Thursday that we post those listings calling out a car’s highlights, and include a few pictures and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi you’re looking for in time to bid on it.
This is a surprise Tuesday edition of Auction Watch for a couple of reasons. First, there’s a B5 S4 in Nogaro Blue whose listing would’ve ended before the next regularly-scheduled Auction Watch. Second, the wife and I are heading to Florida (but sadly not to the Rolex 24) so there will be a pause in Auction Watch until we get back in early February. Now on to more listings, we have a second Nogaro Blue B5 S4 in Avant body style that needs work and some real classics, 1990 Coupe and a 1998 A8. Also, there’s yet another low-mileage 2012 R8 Spyder. But if 1,300 miles is too many for you, Barrett-Jackson is offering 2023 R8 GT #264 which has only 41 miles on the clock. 2002 Audi S4 (89,000 Miles)

Yes, that’s Nogaro Blue on a B5 generation S4, and the interior has black leather seats with Nogaro Blue Alcantara inserts. The 2.7L turbocharged V6 is significantly enhanced, in fact, there are mods inside and out on this car. Please read the listing for all the details. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
1990 Audi Coupe (TMU)

Audi’s 1989 IMSA GTO racecar was based on this Coupe’s design. This example is painted Tornado Red over a black interior with Graphite leather seats, Zebrano wood trim, microfiber (Alcantara?) headliner, a CD stereo, and an A/C that doesn’t work. The 20-valve 2.3L 7A I5 under the hood is Audi rated at 164HP/157 lb-ft and it mates to a 5-speed manual. The timing belt and spark plugs were replaced for the sale. Carfax reports the speedometer assembly was replaced in September 2006 and March 2007, and a mileage inconsistency is listed in an April 2022 entry, hence the total mileage is unknown.
2017 Audi S7 (38,000 Miles)

This Prestige trim-level Sportback is finished in Mythos Black metallic with a Black Optic package over a spacious black interior with Arras Red seats and arm rests, carbon twill red inlays, a Driver Assistance package, and an Alcantara headliner. The twin-turbo 4.0L V8 now runs an APR Stage 1 ECU tune and spins a 7-speed S tronic. An S7 Sport package adds dynamic steering, sport diff, and sport exhaust. Carfax reports minor damage to the front in July 2019.
1998 Audi A8 (67,000 Miles)

No Reserve. The finish on this late 90’s gem is Mélange metallic and that’s over a black/Ecru interior with leather seats, burl wood trim, Bose sound, and solar panels in the sunroof that can power the vehicle’s climate control fan when the car is parked. How cool is that?! The aluminum 4.2L V8 (300HP/295 lb-ft) sends its power to all four wheels through a 5-speed Tiptronic. The Carfax report is clean.
2001 Audi TT Roadster (147,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This diminutive droptop is Nimbus Gray pearl with a black soft top. The front bumper, trunk, and trunk lower body panel were repainted under current ownership and the front bumper appears to have been repaired by a prior owner of which there were eight! The interior is listed as Moccasin but I believe the correct name is Amber Red and the seats have the Baseball stitching that I’d bet were redone because the stitching appears to be a different color than others I’ve seen. Please read the recent service history and the longest Carfax report I’ve ever seen—many service entries but no accidents or damage.

This Ibis White full-size sedan has a surprise under the hood: a 5.2L V10 Audi factory rated at 429HP/398 lb-ft that connects to a 6-speed Tiptronic. Inside you’ll find black Nappa leather seats, carbon fiber inlays, a Technology package, Bose surround sound and a six-CD changer. Please read the listing for service done over the past four years. 2018 Audi S5 Coupe (47,000 Miles)

The B9 generation S5 is powered by a turbocharged 3.0L V-6 factory rated at 354HP/369 lb-ft and it spins an 8-speed Tiptronic. The exterior of this example is Daytona Gray pearl, the black interior has diamond stitched leather seats, Carbon Atlas trim, B&O sound. Other equipment includes S Sport and Driver Assistance packages and dynamic steering. Mods are a VPS bolt-on front resonator delete kit, 19” VMR V802 wheels, and tinted windows. The Carfax report is clean.
2020 Audi S8 (17,000 Miles)

This Audi Flagship is finished in Glacier White metallic (with strategically-placed ppf) over a black interior featuring heated, ventilated, and massaging Valcona leather front seats, Carbon-fiber trim, B&O sound, and an Alcantara headliner reinstalled in June 2023. Options are S8 Executive, Drivers Assistance, red brake calipers and 21” wheel packages. The twin-turbo 4.0L V8 under the hood (563HP/590 lb-ft) had a new water pump installed in November 2023. An 8-speed Tiptronic and sport diff completes the drivetrain. The Carfax report is clean.
2012 Audi R8 V10 Spyder (1,300 Miles)

OMG…it’s another uber-low mileage 2012 R8 Spyder and this one has a 6-speed manual so no R tronic excuse for not driving it. This Daytona Gray pearl, black-roofed example has the optional enhanced leather package interior with red stitching, illuminated door sills, 19” forged alloy wheels, and white-faced instrument dials. Of course the Carfax report is clean.
2018 Audi A4 Allroad (35,000 Miles)

This is a relist after the car previously sold on BaT for $31,250 on January 9, 2024, but the sale was not completed not due to any fault with the vehicle. An enhanced grocery-getter! The 2.0L I4 now inhales through an APR cold air intake and its power flows to a 7-speed S tronic held in place by 034Motorsport transmission mounts. The chassis rides on H&R lowering springs, 034Motorsport front shock tower brace and sway bar end links, and VMR style V710 wheels. It’s Brilliant Black with painted lower cladding over a black interior with gray oak trim. The OEM wheels and removed parts are included in the sale. The Carfax report is clean.
2023 Audi R8 GT #264 (41 Miles)

No Reserve. Lot #1412 is basically a new car, this is #264 of the 333 GTs made worldwide/150 for the US market. The 5.2L V10 in this final spec sends over 600HP to the rear wheels only through its 7-speed S tronic. This one is Mythos Black metallic with beaucoup carbon fiber bits over a black interior with contrasting red stitching, leather/Alcantara seats, and more carbon fiber trim. R8 GT #272 listed on Pcarmarket three weeks ago and bid to $237,500 and now has an offer of $255K. It’s in the Pcarmarket’s Deal Tank asking for $287K with an MSRP of $253,290.
2001 Audi S4 Avant (148,000 Miles)

Another Nogaro Blue B5 S4, this time on a long roof, but this one doesn’t seem to be very well sorted out. The interior has the black leather seats with Nogaro Blue Alcantara inserts, but it also has the Check Engine light and warning lights for the traction control, anti-lock brake, and airbag systems on. The 2.7L turbocharged V6 now mates to a 6-speed manual installed during a previous ownership. Please read this listing and all its comments carefully before bidding.
2010 Audi S5 Coupe (83,000 Miles)

Inside the black cabin you’ll find silk Nappa leather seats. The 4.2L V8 is Audi rated at 354HP/325 lb-ft and it spins a 6-speed manual. 2017 Audi R8 V10 Spyder (11,000 Miles)

There’s Mythos Black metallic under that matte vinyl wrap, it also has carbon Sigma side blades and tinted film over the side markers. The black interior has Nappa leather with red stitching, Carbon Sigma trim, B&O sound, and Audi MMI navigation. The 5.2 V10 is factory rated at 540HP/398 lb-ft, wears a Capristo exhaust, and connects to 7-speed S tronic. The Carfax report is clean.
