Fellow Audi fans: make a New Year’s resolution to stop spending countless hours searching the internet for your favorite car(s) and simply check out this post every week. Auction Watch is monitoring numerous auction sites for Audi models worthy of bidding on, then posting a short description with key data points and a few pictures to, hopefully, help you find the car you’re looking for in time to bid.
Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction starts January 21st and TV coverage begins the 23rd and runs through the 29th. It’s always fun to watch, especially on what they call “super Saturday” when the real high-dollar cars cross the block. But if you’re looking for any Audi models you only have one to choose from. Lot 53.1 is a 2005 S4 Cabriolet and it crosses the block on Monday the 23rd. Fortunately, there are many others to choose from in this week’s on-line auction listings below.

It’s Glacier White metallic over a black leather/carbon twill inlay interior with the Executive, Individual contour seat, and Driver assistance packages, night vision assistant, and B&O 3D Advanced Sound. The twin-turbo 4.0L V8 with a sport exhaust provides the go-power and the carbon-ceramic disc brakes provide the whoa-power. A clean Carfax too.
2019 Audi RS 3 (40,000 Miles)

The wonderful 2.5L turbocharged I5, factory rated at 394HP/354 lb-ft, now exhales through 034Motorsport Res-X high-flow midpipes (factory secondary cats included with sale) and CETE Active (exhaust) Valve Control. It rolls on 19” BC Forged RZ21 wheels. The Nardo Gray on the front bumper, front fenders, mirrors, rocker panels, lower doors, and A- and B-pillars is protected by XPEL. Options include Technology, Driver Assistance, Dynamic, and Black Optic packages, Audi Sport Carbon Fiber inlays, and RS 3 logo front floor mats. The Carfax report is clean.
2004 Audi S4 Cabriolet (60,000 Miles)

Finished in dark blue (Scuba?) with a Blue soft top over a black interior, this drop top might make the perfect summer project/fun car as it needs a few items fixed. Please read the listing for details. The N/A 4.2L is factory rated at 340HP/302 lb-ft and it connects to a 6-speed automatic. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
1973 Audi 100 LS (Total Mileage Unknown)

One owner! That’s Agate Brown over a redone interior with tan cloth seats. It’s powered by a 1.9L I4 (91HP/111 lb-ft) that was rebuilt in 1995; the transmission is 4-speed manual transaxle. The 50 years of use are reflected through dents, drying door/window seals, and a few mechanical gremlins, but if you’re looking for an antique Audi this one’s a prime candidate.
2001 Audi S4 (155,000 Miles)

No Reserve. The twin-turbo 2.7L V6 was modified in 2018 with Midwest Turbo K04 turbochargers, a Project B5 wastegate line kit, 034Motorsport breather hose kit, and aftermarket exhaust components. See build sheet link in listing for all the details. The Light Silver metallic chassis with coilovers rolls on 19″ replica RS4 wheels. Inside you’ll see Onyx Silk Nappa leather and wood trimmed. Carfax reports damage to the front in July 2013.

Outside it’s Ice Silver Metallic with an LMS Racing front grille, carbon-fiber Sigma rear diffuser, front lip, mirror caps, and sideblades. Inside the black cabin is an enhanced leather package, carbon-fiber trim, an Alcantara headliner, and a direct-wired Passport radar detector. Read the listing for a few more tweaks, removed OEM parts come with the sale. The 5.2L V10 mates to a 6-speed R-Tronic. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2007 Audi RS 4 (90,000 Miles)

Relisted from mid-December when the winning bidder failed to complete the deal. It’s finished in Daytona Gray pearl over a black/silver interior with the less common Silver Nappa leather seats contrasting piping. The 4.2L V8 (420HP/317 lb-ft) exhales through an AWE Tuning Touring exhaust. The 6-speed manual has an aftermarket short-shifter and the car retains the factory Dynamic Ride Control. Carfax reports minor accident damage in February 2018 to the left front and right rear.
2008 Audi A4 Ute Conversion (111,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Ever wished Audi made an El Camino/Ranchero? Someone else did too. This sedan-to-Ute (Australian for coupe utility vehicle) conversion was done in 2018 using a kit from Smyth Performance. It looks pretty well done but needs some work to get everything in the cabin functional. The A4 drivetrain is a 2.0L I4 mated to a 6-speed Tiptronic. Carfax reports minor to moderate damage to the front/front right in January 2014.
2003 Audi A4 Avant (95,000 Miles)

No Reserve. A B6 generation with a manual transmission and finished Brilliant Black over an Ebony interior. My question is do you drive it as-is or turn into a project car? See the listing for the work done in 2022 on the 1.8L I4 (170HP/166 lb-ft) drivetrain. Its aftermarket headlamps are the only mod and they trigger a CEL. Carfax reports minor damage to the rear in September 2015.

Finished in Ice Silver metallic with Carbon Sigma sideblades over a black cabin whose options include a Full Fine Nappa Leather and Convenience packages, Carbon Sigma inlays, an Alcantara headliner, and B&O sound. It also sports an aftermarket front grille, OEM is included in the sale. A clean Carfax report.

No Reserve. Daytona Gray on the outside with a 5.2L V10, factory rated at 450HP/398 lb-ft, under the hood. Plus it has the neatest seat mod I’ve seen: black leather inserts with the Audi red rhombus with inset black rings…and matching floor mats. Other mods include 19” wheels, black rings and grille, and aftermarket side skirts. The listing states it has an accident-free Carfax report but there’s no link to it.
2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus Coupe (9,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Harrison Performance & Tuning of Tucson, AZ, got busy on this R8. Per the dyno sheet in the listing it has 1,589.3 horsepower and 1,128.3 lb-ft of torque. All that power goes into a Dodson Motorsport ProMax clutch system. Good thing it also has a red roll cage in the black cabin. Modification records total over $166k and are in the listing as well. I’m in awe!
2015 Audi S5 Coupe (76,000 Miles)

This B8.5 is powered by a supercharged 3.0L V6 factory rated at 333HP/325 lb-ft that inhales through an aftermarket air intake. The transmission is a 7-speed S tronic. Outside it’s Daytona Gray pearl with Black Optics. Inside its black cabin you’ll find black leather/Alcantara seats, Carbon Atlas trim, and the Technology Package. Carfax reports minor damage to the right front/side/rear in October 2015. A True360 inspection report from August 2019 finds the front bumper cover, right fender, and right door were refinished.
