Happy New Year fellow Audi enthusiasts! Do you find yourself searching through the internet’s multiple car auction sites looking for a specific model? While it can be fun, it does consume valuable time you could spend planning all your Audi Club adventures for the coming year. So let us do some of the work for you. Auction Watch monitors online auction sites for Audi models worthy of your bids. Each Thursday we post those listings calling out a car’s highlights, and include a few pictures and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi you’re looking for in time to bid on it.
Last week there were three nice R8s and this week there are two more including the one I wanted to preview coming up at Mecum Auctions in Kissimmee, FL. That one is a 2020 R8 Decennium edition professionally modified by Underground Racing. There’s no dyno sheet but the listing says it’s rated at 1,150 HP on premium fuel and 1,500 HP on race gas. It is Mecum Lot S134 and it will cross the block sometime on Saturday January 13th. Meanwhile back in the land of factory horsepower there’s another very special R8. 2016 Audi A8 L (27,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends late this PM! Glacier White metallic paint covers this example of Audi’s flagship model. The spacious interior features Valcona leather heated/ventilated/massage front sport seats, Vavona wood inlays, Driver Assistance and Cold Weather packages, four-zone automatic climate control, and a Bose sound. Under the hood is a turbocharged 4.0L V8, Audi rated at 450HP/444 lb-ft, that mates to an 8-speed Tiptronic. The only mod is tinted windows and the Carfax report is clean.
2018 Audi S5 Sportback (35,000 Miles)

A coating of Florett Silver metallic graces this Sportback’s exterior while a black interior features Fine Nappa leather heated/massaging diamond-stitched front seats, Carbon Atlas trim, a Navigation package, and B&O 3D sound. The 3.0L turbocharged V6 (354HP/369 lb-ft) spins an 8-speed Tiptronic and a Sport diff is part of the optional S Sport package. The Carfax report is clean.
2019 Audi A7 (34,000 Miles)

If the RS 7 has more HP than you’re looking for and the S5 above isn’t big enough, how about this A7? Its 3.0L turbocharged V6 is factory rated at 335HP/369 lb-ft and mates to a 7-speed S tronic and it has a 48 volt hybrid-assist. It’s a Prestige trim level equipped with City Assist, S-Line, and Cold Weather packages, wood trim, and B&O sound. Mods are black powder-coated wheels and tinted windows. Carfax reports minor damage in May 2020 with no details but it was sold as a CPO vehicle two days later.
2016 Audi RS 7 (34,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This sportback is powered by a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 which Audi rated at 560HP/516 lb-ft and connected to an 8-speed Tiptronic. The Sepang Blue pearl exterior has a Carbon Optic package; the black interior has Valcona leather seats with honeycomb-pattern inserts, RS-design carbon-fiber trim, Driver Assistance package, and Bose Surround sound. The Carfax report is clean but the warning light for the tire pressure monitoring system is lit.
2018 Audi S4 (25,000 Miles)

This Daytona Gray pearl sedan is a bit of a sleeper. Optioned with Navigation, S Sport, and 19” wheel packages, and Fine Nappa leather seats in Magma Red, it’s enhanced under the hood. The turbocharged 3.0L V6 now runs an Integrated Engineering Stage 1 ECU tune and the 8-speed Tiptronic spins to an IE TCU tune as well. Apparently Liqui Moly oil has been keeping the V6 well-lubricated. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but the 2017 date-coded tires with a bulge in the right-front’s sidewall will have you tire shopping if you win the bid.
2018 Audi S7 (16,000 Miles)

The drivetrain is a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 (450HP/406 lb-ft), a 7-speed S tronic, and thanks to the S7 Sport Package, a torque-vectoring rear diff. The Tornado Gray metallic finish is complimented by a Black Optic package and wears paint protection film on its forward surfaces, mirror caps, rocker panels, door handle pockets, door edges, and rear bumper. Inside the primarily black interior are Lunar Silver Valcona leather seats with contrast diamond stitching, Carbon Atlas inlays, retracting MMI infotainment with 8″ touchscreen, and Bose sound. The Carfax report is clean.
2018 Audi R8 V10 plus Coupe (1,100 Miles)

This is a 1 of 10 Competition package cars (it says so right on the window sticker) which is a $34,175 option. It also has a black optic package to contrast the Suzuka Gray metallic paint, a full leather package with red stitching and B&O sound for the black interior, and dynamic steering too. The 5.2L V10 is Audi rated at 602 horsepower and 413 lb-ft in plus spec and it spins a 7-speed S tronic. No accidents or damage are reported by Carfax. And BTW, bidding is already up to $210,000 as of Wednesday evening.
2017 Audi TTS Coupe (11,000 Miles)

This Mark III’s body is painted Glacier White metallic over a black cabin with Magma Red Fine Nappa leather seats, a Technology package, and B&O sound. Power is courtesy of a 2.0L I4 factory rated at 292HP/280 lb-ft and that flows to a 6-speed DSG in order to spin the optional 20” wheels. The Carfax report documents an excellent service history from its one owner who had no accidents or other damage.
2018 Audi A4 Allroad (35,000 Miles)

This is no longer just a grocery-getter…it’s been enhanced. The 2.0L I4 now inhales through an APR cold air intake and its power flows to a 7-speed S tronic held in place by 034Motorsport transmission mounts. The chassis rides on H&R lowering springs, 034Motorsport front shock tower brace and sway bar end links, and VMR style V710 wheels. It’s Brilliant Black with painted lower cladding over a black interior with gray oak trim. The OEM wheels and removed parts are included in the sale. The Carfax report is clean.
2015 Audi S4 (34,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Listed as just Gray, it has paint protection film on the front valance, hood, fenders, and trunk area. The black interior has leather/Alcantara seats, brushed aluminum trim, B&O sound, and WeatherTech floor mats. The supercharged 3.0L V6 engine is Audi rated at 333HP/325 lb-ft and connects to a 7-speed S tronic. A set of Axis Sport wheels wrapped in Pirelli Sottozero tires accompany the sale. No accidents or damage reported by Carfax.
