Audi Adds Dolby Atmos to Q7, Q8, A8, and e-tron GT

Starting in July 2025, Dolby Atmos will be integrated into select Audi models, including the Q7, Q8, A8, and e-tron GT, through a new partnership with Dolby. This upgrade is designed to work seamlessly with Audi’s already-impressive Bang & Olufsen Premium 3D Sound System, offering an even more immersive, spatial audio experience.

U.S. Audi owners can expect this tech to be available via the Audi Application Store and integrated streaming apps like Amazon Music, Audible, and TIDAL, each supporting Dolby Atmos tracks. With 93% of Billboard’s 2024 Top 100 artists already releasing music in Atmos, there’ll be plenty of content to enjoy. The system itself will support up to 23 speakers in certain configurations, including specialized dashboard tweeters, making your daily commute feel more like a private listening session.
