As Syria Falls, Rebel Video Reveals Assad Car Collection Including Audi Models
It’s a historic moment of Syria this week as rebels have overrun its capital and its billionaire leader Bashar Al-Assad has fled to Moscow. And with Assad now gone, rebels and Syrians alike have entered the Presidential facilities finding evidence of his massive wealth including his cars.
We’re embedding several videos covering the garage of cars in particular, though it’s worth taking a closer look. While the Assad collection in this one warehouse is hardly Sultan of Brunei large, it does include many luxury cars including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys and some Audis.
Given the one video main video in question, we count an S8, another S8 or perhaps A8, an R8 and an e-tron Sportback amongst the mix. A CNN piece, also embedded here, suggests there are several garages but that most of what was in another main garage was a fleet of armored vehicles.
As the videos explore further, you see glimpses of the palace, a lavish office and even a substantial underground bunker.
Our focus on vides embedded here was to show or gather information about the garage in particular, so it’s worth checking YouTube further if you want to see more on these facilities.
