With the 2020 model year the Audi A5 and S5 were brought up to date with the latest facelift across all body styles. While buyers can enjoy design upgrades like new headlights and a new front grille as well as several technological improvements the pleasure of driving a performance car like the Audi S5 hasn’t changed. ABT is catering to those driving enthusiasts that want to sharpen the responsiveness of the Audi S5 twin-scroll turbocharged 3.0-liter V6. The separate ABT Engine Control unit provides a power increase from 349 HP / 369 lb-ft to approx. 419 HP / 405 lb-ft (with 93 octane fuel)* by still keeping all the safety features of the factory engine intact.
For a particularly expressive look ABT Sportsline also offers a rear spoiler in carbon gloss for the A5 and S5 Coupe and Sportback. The spoiler highlights the high-quality, dynamic appearance of the 2020 model year while providing improved aerodynamic characteristics and even sportier handling. When it comes to wheels Audi A5 and S5 owners can currently choose between four different ABT Sportsline designs in 19 and 20-inch sizes. ABT DR, ER-C, FR and GR all offer a dark color that best suits the car but differ in finish, style and characteristics.
The driving dynamics of the Audi A5 and S5 can also be further improved by using height adjustable suspension springs lowering the car between 0.59 and 1.57 inches (15-40 mm) while anti-roll bars for the front and rear axle reduce the body roll of the vehicle. Drivers who wish to emphasize the features of the interior can do this with a start-stop-switch-cap, carbon/leather shift knob cover (available to order directly from the Audi accessories shop) and integrated entrance lights showing the ABT logo.
