Audi to Unveil Major Formula 1 Plans on November 12
Audi F1 Team stirs up more excitement with a teaser of their 2026 Formula 1 project on Instagram. The social media post promises a big announcement on November 12. This is what we think will be unveiled.
Let’s first get out of the way what we don’t expect to see on November 12. The full reveal of the 2026 Audi F1 car complete with racing livery will likely not be shown until late January at the earliest and possibly not until the middle of February. However, what we may see this week are the official colors and branding that will give us a good idea of what we can expect the car to look like in race trim.
What Will We Learn?
The November 12 reveal could also include milestone dates for the Audi F1 Team such as the official launch date. We already know that Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hülkenberg will be behind the wheel and Mattia Binotto will head the F1 project. But additional team announcements could be made.
We may also learn the formal name of the Audi F1 car for 2026. Kick Sauber C45 is the current Sauber team entry. What will the Audi car be? The final Audi Formula E race car was the e-tron FE07. Will the Formula 1 car be the F101? F126? We may find out soon.
After racking up some impressive finishes this summer, the Kick Sauber team that will become Audi F1 next year has cooled off in recent weeks. They have picked up a combined 7 points in the last five races. However, their 62 total points in 2025 is far better than the 4 points they scored in all of 2024. Hopefully Audi F1 can build on this success going into the 2026 season.
We are mere hours away from learning more about this historic Audi F1 Team. Once we get all the details, we will be sure to share them with you here. In the meantime, let us know what you hope to learn on November 12.
