Petersen Automotive Museum Honors Ken Block with Special Exhibit

Ken Block, the legendary rally driver, automotive content creator, and co-founder of DC Shoes, is being honored with a dedicated exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Titled People’s Champ: The Impact of Ken Block, this showcase will celebrate his groundbreaking contributions to motorsports, automotive media, and enthusiast culture. Running from February 15 to October 2025, the exhibit will feature some of Block’s most iconic vehicles, along with memorabilia that reflects his storied career and influence.

Block revolutionized automotive entertainment with his Gymkhana video series, captivating millions with high-octane, precision-driving stunts in custom-built performance machines. His work with Hoonigan Industries and the Hoonigan YouTube channel further cemented his place in the automotive world, producing a mix of thrilling content, vehicle builds, and grassroots motorsports enthusiasm that inspired a new generation of car fans.

What to Expect at the Exhibit

  • 1986 Audi Sport Quattro Replica “Turbo Monster” – A nod to Audi’s rally legacy.

  • 1994 Ford Escort RS Cosworth “Cossie V2” – A rally legend reborn.

Alongside these vehicles, the exhibit will display Block’s racing suits, helmets, DC Shoes collaborations, and Hoonigan merchandise, providing a deep dive into the career of one of motorsports’ most creative minds.

Special Event: 43i Cars & Coffee Cruise-In on April 5

As part of the exhibit’s programming, the museum will host the first-ever public celebration of Ken Block with 43i Cars & Coffee Cruise-In on April 5, 2025. The gathering will not only celebrate Block’s influence but also the spirit of creativity and collaboration that defines automotive culture. Attendees can enjoy a delicious lunch from the legendary Pink’s Hot Dogs and receive an exclusive commemorative gift as a token of appreciation for participating in this one-of-a-kind event.
