New Thriller ‘Den of Thieves 2: Pantera’ Features Audi S6, A6 and Porsche Taycan

There’s a new heist thriller coming from Lionsgate that almost gives of Ronin vibes with the amount cars appear to feature in the plot. Starring Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson, Jr., the movie appears to be set mainly in Europe and gives plenty of screen time to the previous-generation Audi S6, A6 and Porsche Taycan.

Lionsgate gives a synopsis as this:

Gerard Butler (Plane, Has Fallen series) and O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton, Godzilla: King of the Monsters) return in the sequel to 2018’s action-heist hit Den of Thieves. In DEN OF THIEVES: PANTERA, Big Nick (Butler) is back on the hunt in Europe and closing in on Donnie (Jackson), who is embroiled in the treacherous and unpredictable world of diamond thieves and the infamous Panther mafia, as they plot a massive heist of the world’s largest diamond exchange.

Clearly the star car is the Porsche, something the brand from Stuttgart emphasized by sharing its own trailer with a heavier focus on the Taycan. Even still, the C-body A6 and S6 may feature nearly as much as we can see a heist scene at a port with Audi police cars, another with the S6 on its own, a third daytime chase on a winding mountain road, and a fourth possibly part of the third scene that takes place in a tunnel.
