While the RS 6 Avant GT has been revealed for a few months now and the Audi TT clubsport turbo debuted back in 2015 at Wörthersee, the coming together of these two Audi Sport specimens is still newsworthy in our book. Both exhibit peak Audi Sport styling and performance of their eras, and both look visually incredible in classic Audi Sport “tricolore” (dreifarbig?) colors.
Audi Deutschland shared this photo set today, in a post that read the following:
“Dream pair – the Audi RS 6 Avant GT meets the Audi TT clubsport turbo. Both models were inspired by the successful Audi 90 IMSA GTO of the late 1980s – recognizable by the spectacular design and iconic foiling. The Audi TT clubsport turbo technical study was introduced at the Wörtherseetour 2015, eight years later the Audi RS 6 Avant GT came to the market as the spearhead of its line.”
