This year's LA Auto Show (and the run-up to) was a busy one for Audi: the reveals of the e-tron Sportback, RS 6 Avant, RS 7 Sportback, S8, and the RS Q8. We did however notice that Audi sneaked in one: the RS 5 Panther edition in Audi exclusive Panther Black paint.

While others may be familiar with Rain Prisk, I just stumbled across him (?) her (?) the other day with the above R8 render. Rain is a talented concept artist who makes renderings of vehicles that OEMs can visualize but will never put into production. Can you imagine if Audi decided to build a pickup truck? Rain did with this Q7 pickup. Finally a competitor to the Lincoln Mark LT! Like I said, fantasy buil...

The USA and Canada are the first markets worldwide to get the Audi RS5 Sportback – even before Germany. With an US office in Miami, Florida and about 50 North American dealers ABT Sportsline is more than happy to participate in the hare and tortoise game. That is why the first ABT RS5-R Sportback can say: "I'm already here!" The first vehicle in a limited worldwide run of 50 units was built together with the American partner TAG Motorsports from Vista, California. It...

ABT is making the 510 HP power upgrade for the Audi RS5 available to all its customers. Until recently the performance increase was exclusively reserved for the limited RS5-R package. Puncture costs Nico Müller possible points
Fantastic backdrop, thrilling battles at the front, but a disappointing result for the many Audi fans at trackside: in the first of two DTM races at the Norisring, Jamie Green in eleventh place was the best placed driver of an Audi RS 5 DTM on Saturday.
The sobering result for defending champion Audi was already evident d...
Okay, so we've seen some critique of the wheel design on the new RS 5 coupé. While we don't take issue, a recent thread on our Facebook group seems to find a consensus (at least of the most outspoken) that they look like something you'd find from another manufacturer. We disagree, and here's why.
What you see above is an RS 5 currently in stock at Walter's Audi in Riverside, CA and shot by James Lee of Food4Audis. As you can see, the dealership has foregone the typical gloss black...

It's been awhile since we visited the guys at Cars.co.za. Last time, they dragged an RS 3 against a BMW M2. This time, they're pitting the RS 3's bigger brother against the M2's bigger brother.
How does the RS 5 do against its rival? Will the race be close or a run away? What do you think?

Autocar is reporting that Audi will introduce a turbocharged V6 powered entry level R8 to the lineup. This comes after news that the current R8 will have a face lift and there are no plans to replace it.
The V6 will be the same 2.9 liter twin turbocharged shared with the RS 4 Avant, RS 5, and the Porsche Panamera. Audi has mentioned that the V6 will come with different power options.
