Here’s the dirty little secret about Monterey Car Week. You can’t see it all. You simply can’t. No matter how much you prepare, you’d be incredibly hard pressed to know about all of the cool events and meet-ups going on that week. Held at the legendary Laguna Seca raceway, the “Monterey Historics” is the event for motorsports enthusiasts. It is a celebration of all things racing, and that’s obvious from walking the paddock or spotting what’s on track. Many vendors line the vendor row, while other special displays like Bring A Trailer’s “Family Reunion” can also be found on the Laguna Seca’s grounds.

The term bucket listis oft over-used, meant to call out the ultimate and often less-than-ultimate experience of just about anything. Even still, when speaking of Monterey Car Week, it is a fair descriptor. Bucket list is also an apt analogy, because with the simply impossible number of events going on over just a few days, seeing everything is about as attainable as one of those million dollar Bugattis and the like that you’ll spy over-and-over in Monterey traffic....

Yet another highlight can now be confirmed for next week's bucket list worthy Monterey Car Week. We've just learned that a recently restored 1988 Audi 200 TRANS-AM racer will be present in Monterey and will even take to the track at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca.
