A couple of months ago, we featured Paul Walker's 2000 Audi S4 as a Find of the Future Day. It was a FOTFD because we knew it was going up for auction but just didn't know when. Now we do.
There is a collection of Paul's cars at the Barrett-Jackson's Scottsdale auction that runs from January 11-19, 2020. Here's the list of the collection:
1963 Chevrolet Nova Wagon

This Find of the Day ticks off so many boxes: Rad-era Audi [√], manual transmission [√], quattro [√], low mileage [√], fire engine red [√], actual fire engine...wait what? Ok so while it's not an actual fire truck, it did serve as a German fire department vehicle and it has all the bells and whistles still intact. Better yet, it's already here in the States. Here's the ad:

Normally I wouldn't feature a newer Audi here on our Find of the Day unless it's something very special...and this SQ5 is something very special. What you see here is a manual transmission swapped SQ5. Wait...what? Our quattro Magazine editor-in-chief posted this on Facebook with a caption that just said "Interesting build". You don't say *Nicholas Cage face*.

Audi B5 S4, whether sedan or Avant, have acquired almost legendary status amongst Audi fans and this one is no exception. Finding a well sorted out example that is not ragged or rusty is getting harder these days so when we saw our friends over at New German Performance (NGP) post this one, we took a closer look. It also didn't hurt that the caption for their picture was th...

This particular Audi exclusive Orange Pearl Effect V3 may look familiar to some readers as it has graced both the pages of quattro Magazine and the website (featured in q1_2018 and in the SEMA Show photo gallery on the site). It was my instant favorite at SEMA not only because of its eye-grabbing color but also of the "ghost" Audi rings on its flanks...reminiscent of when I played Gran Turism...

For Audi fans, especially ones of a certain age, Treser evokes memories of wild and unusual cars but what some may not know is that the genius behind Treser is Walter Treser. I'll admit that my Treser knowledge is a bit...how do you say...lousy but if you want to learn more about him and his creations, check out this article from The Truth About Cars.
So why am I bringing up Walter Treser in this Find of ...

Everyone's attention is on the new Audi RS 6 Avant coming to the States as a 2020 model but what about the other RS 6 that made it to the States? The C5 RS 6 came over as a sedan instead of the uberwagon but it's nothing to ignore. This example found on Audizine has only 83,xxx miles on it and looks like it's had a ton of maintenance in the last year.

I love the Coupe quattro...I may have mentioned it here before. So instead of gushing about my love for them, let's take a closer look at this one. While quattro is great in the snow, how about a 6" lift? And the lack of power of the Cq? No problem, swap in a 1.8T. Here's the ad:

Word came out yesterday that the 2020 Audi A6 allroad will make its way to U.S. shores and one of its 1st appearances will be at the exclusive Audi Club Nationals 2019 event (there's still time to sign up for the Audi Oktober Concours & Tech Talk on Saturday Oct 19th to see the A6 allroad and meet Tom Kristensen). Yes we are featuring the second B5 in a row on our Find of the Day but the first was Paul Walker's S4 and this...this is another special one. While it may look like another B5 A4 quattro from the outside, it's got a TDI heart. The States didn't get a B5 TDI unless you're talking about the Volkswagen B5 (and B5.5) Passat and even then we didn't get an all-wheel drive version.

I really don't have to introduce Paul Walker, do I? Star of The Fast and The Furious franchise, it's appropriate that he was a major gearhead. Sadly passing in 2013, he left behind a legacy that still rings loudly today. And now you can own a piece of his legacy.

I need to change the prescription of my glasses. I spotted this the other day on Bring A Trailer and thought it said S6 Avant not RS 6 Avant so I just skipped over it (not that there's anything wrong with that). Too bad but not too late. In my defense, who would have thought a C5 RS 6 Avant would be legal in the States with our 25-year import law? So that begs the question...how is this legal in th...

With the earlier Audi RS2 Avant legal to import into the States now, the prices of them have slowly started to rise. That in turn is dragging the lesser sporty Audi vehicles upwards in price also. But some vehicles are worth it and I think this is one of them. Some may prefer the Avant over the coupe and while I love Avants, there's something about a Coupe quattro that I prefer over this generation's Avant....

Product planners configure vehicles to see what they think will work or not. Occasionally, they will spec out a vehicle that that is loaded with options normally not seen on American shores. When the product planning team is done with it, it's reconditioned and sent out for sale. This Q7 S line is one of those vehicles. It truly is a 1 of 1 in this option in the US.
In addition to this Q7 having t...

When was the last time you saw an Audi V8? When was the last time you saw one with only 218km (135 miles)? It was Audi's first car powered by a V8 hence the simple name of V8. As the name implies, it's powered by a 3.6L V8 (the 4.2L were in models built from 1991 to 1993). Hans-Joachim Stuck and Frank Biela drove the competition model V8 to back to back DTM titles in 1990 and 1991.

It's been said the Auto Union 1000SP Coupe was inspired by the Ford Thunderbird and there's no argument from me. From grille to taillights, it's a mini 1955 T-Bird. First shown at the 1957 Frankfurt Motor Show, the coupe was in production from 1958 to 1965 (there was a roadster version produced from 1961-1965). Over 6,500 coupes and roadsters were eventually built. But while the Thunderbird was pow...
