There have been photos of a stateside Euro-spec S3 Sportback (and a Euro-spec Volkswagen MK8 GTI) floating around and now we know the story. APR, the longtime tuner in the VW/Audi scene, imported both from Germany. Chatting with APR's Brand Manager, Arin Ahnell, he explained that they were bought in Germany and APR Deutschland and APR partner, Stoll Automotive, had begun development on both.

I know I've used this before but do you know who Walter Mitty is? He was a meek man with a wildly vivid imagination in the short story The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. With our Find of the Day, you can imagine yourself as a famous race car driver and you wouldn't be that far from the truth. Here's the ad:

Yesterday, we showed spy photos of both the facelifted 2022 Audi A8 and A8 hybrid. Today, we bring you their brawnier sibling, the 2022 Audi S8 and this time in the cold winter of northern Sweden.
Just like on the first sighting, we can see the new headlights reminiscent of the A3 headlights. The new grille is also visible, a new shape and new inserts is the deal there.

It's the New Year and that means it's time for some new spy shots again. We start off with the first photos of the upcoming Audi A8 facelift.
And we spied not one but two prototypes out testing and even if they look pretty much the same, there are some small differences.
The facelifted Audi A8 will get some new head lights in “A3” style as we can see and also a new designed grille. The grille just doesn't have new inserts but also has...

New versus old, youth versus elder...what's better? Vicki Butler-Henderson and Henry Catchpole from Carfection try to answer this question by pitting a MKI R8 V8 against a MKII R8 V10 performance. They both agree that the original is still a great looking vehicle and drives well but what of the next generation? Which one would either want to go home with? Watch below and let's all agree...the MKI R8 wa...

With the regular Audi A3 sedan out and official, there is no need for Audi to hide the upcoming RS 3 in full camo anymore except for the RS parts.
Just like the RS 3 Sportback, we can see that this prototype also has the wide production fenders behind that camouflage. We also notice that there is an air outlet hidden under camouflage at the area behind the front wheel. Wider fenders need wider side sills and they are also present on this ...

Growing up, I never did look at an Audi 4000 with starry eyes or even any eyes. It wasn't until much (much) later that I began to appreciate them. Maybe because up until that point, I had not driven one and was pretty ignorant about other Audi models outside of the Sport quattro or the 90 Coupe quattro my friend had in college. Joining Audi/Volkswagen forums in the late 90s/early 2000s, people were talking...

People will look back at 2020 as the Year of the Pandemic but it could also be called the Year of the Avant. The mighty RS 6 Avant finally landed on NA shores and the A6 allroad made a comeback. So you can say long roof fans are all anog over Avants. That brings us to today's Find of the Day. This 200 Avant may look familiar to some as it was a Bring A Trailer car back in March of this year and...

Motor1.com had a little fun pitting two ICE cars up against the electric competition on a runway in Turkey: a C7 RS 6 Avant and a 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo in one corner and a Porsche Taycan Turbo, a Tesla Model S P100D, a Tesla Model S P90D, and a Tesla Model S P85D in the other. They took these vehicles through a 1000 meter drag race, a rolling race, and a brake test...standard fare it seems these days...

If you’re familiar with Chinese customer trends in the car market, you know they have a soft spot for rear legroom. Plenty of cars are sold in the People’s Republic with an extended wheelbase, including models such as the A4L and A6L sedans. The flagship A8 is sold locally exclusively in the stretched form, and there are even Q2L and Q5L models serving as roomier derivatives of the two SUVs. And now its time for yet another model...
