A tactical result for Team Audi Sport in today’s stage with the aim to gain the best possible starting positions for the following 48-hour stage in the Empty Quarter.
All three Audi RS Q e-tron* cars survived the Marathon stage of this year’s Dakar Rally with Carlos Sainz and Lucas Cruz defending their second place in the overall standings on Tuesday.
Mattias Ekström and Emil Bergkvist missed the stage win on Monday by just nine seconds, improving to P3 in the overall standings with their Audi RS Q e-tron. All three cars of Team Audi Sport are now running in the Top 6.
