Audi Club Golden Gate has been hosting Legends of the Autobahn with the BMW Car Club of America and the Mercedes-Benz Club of America for years now and this year…it’s going to be rad. RADwood has joined the festivities and it’s sure an event you don’t want to miss. Here’s the press release:
Monterey, C.A. (April 9, 2019) –The premier German-marque concours will join forces with the premier automotive lifestyle event for a can’t miss show on Friday, August 16, at The Club at Pasadera, during Monterey Car Week.
Hosted annually by the BMW Car Club of America, the Mercedes-Benz Club of America, and the Audi Club of North America, Legends of the Autobahn will this year welcome RADwood—the car show that blends period correct dress with automotive awesomeness. RADwood will bring its unique style and host a large corral at Legend’s that is open to all European cars and bikes from 1980-1999 that capture the essence of a bodacious era.
“For those of us who grew up in the 80’s and 90’s we know our E30’s are the raddest of the Rad, so partnering with our friends at RADwood was a natural,” said Frank Patek, BMW CCA Executive Director.
RADwood will offer a special ticket package for the event. The package will include a corral parking pass and a one-year membership in your choice of the BMW, Mercedes, or Audi Clubs.
“We’re so amped to join the Legends of the Autobahn experience, and can’t wait to party down Euro-style. Blow the dust off of your E30 3 Series, Coupe Quattro, or R129 SL and join in the totally rad fun! This show is going to be hoppin’ with all your favorites from the 80s and 90s, so be there or be square!” says Brad Brownell, RADwood co-founder.
This year’s show will return to The Club at Pasadera and feature a golf course full of exotic German metal, displays from manufacturers and sponsors, and, of course, the awesomeness that is RADwood. The show will run from 9 am to 3 pm with the awards ceremony beginning at approximately 1:30 pm.
