We have some new photos of the Audi A4 Avant and this time it’s our first sighting of the PHEV version.
Two prototypes were spotted and we can see both the charger port on one of them and some high-voltage stickers on the other one. What we also can see it that they both seem to have a glass roof or is it a roof with solar cells ? Check out the area around the antenna and you will know what I mean. Solar cells on a PHEV car would of course be ideal in order to give the car a better electric range.
We are expecting a line-up of various PHEV versions in different power stages when its time for the debut.
Otherwise the prototypes don’t give away to much new, the rear lights are still place holders and not the production units as we can see.
