Audi is not going to let BMW have the market for the electric premium wagons alone with the i5 Touring so it’s only natural to bring the A6 e-tron as a long-roof as well. The Audi A6 Avant e-tron was pre-viewed by the beautiful A6 Avant e-tron Concept back in March 2022 so we knew it was coming. And now the prototypes are also out and testing giving us a good look at the overall design.
Of course all of the design is shared with the regular hatchback up to the rear doors but then the long roof gives the Avant a new look and more practically options.
The electric PPE platform is shared with the upcoming siblings Porsche Macan EV and Audi Q6 e-tron offering quick charging and long range with the 800 V technic. Of course, we will see different stages of power with the RS 6 Avant e-tron being the top model with a power figure around 700 horsepower.
