The big Audi EV SUV for China comes closer to its debut! At the Shanghai Auto Show in April Audi debuted the Audi concept Shanghai, a big electric SUV aimed for the Chinese market.

Riding on the same MEB platform as the Volkswagen ID.6, it will be positioned between the Q4 and Q7 , so basically the size of the Audi e-tron. Audi says the length will be about 16ft (4.87 m) and will offer a range of approximately 350 miles (560 km). The fact that it shares the platform with the VW ID.6 will make it more affordable as well.

We spotted this prototype of the Audi EV SUV during testing in Germany and we also got a close look at the interior.

The debut could come as early as the end of this year , otherwise we could expect it in the first half of 2022.
