Spied Again: Audi RS 7 Avant Test Mule

We’re getting an even better look at the upcoming RS 7 Avant thanks to this most recent set of spy photos that caught Audi’s next-gen C-segment long roof testing in and around the Nürburgring. Technically, it’s our first look given the previous wide-tracked mule spied previously is now believed to be an A7 allroad variant.

In this case, there’s no mistaking the wide fenders matching closely RS 5 Avant test mules we’ve previously seen, or the air outlets in the front fenders. There are also large wheels with massive brakes that are also quite obvious RS-specification.

On this particular mule, the front fascia and grille appear to maybe even be close to production designs. We can also see twin oval exhaust tips at the back, though expect them to be bigger when the production version is finally revealed.

And while we can’t see a charging port in these photos, we do see a required sticker in the rear window that confirms some kind of electrification. Whatever the case on the electric side of things, the internal combustion will most likely be an evolution of the current V8 bitu]]]]\rbo, possibly with similar power configuration as the Porsche Panamera Turbo E-hybrid that produces 680 hp in hybrid form.
