Hello again Sierra Chapter members:

Note: Excuse the late notice, but call anyway.

ANOTHER one? Yes, we’ve scheduled a great drive and dinner to Graeagle at the Gray Eagle Lodge (http://www.grayeaglelodge.com/) on Saturday, September 22nd.

Dinner is scheduled for 5:30 pm at the Gray Eagle Lodge (5000 Gold Lake Road). We have tentative reservations for 20 people, so it’s important you let me know by phone, text or e-mail if you can join us. We will order from the menu ($18-$34) with individual checks. IMPORTANT: the Saturday night dinner special at the lodge is prime rib; if that’s your choice, please let me know (1) if you can join us and (2) if you want prime rib, I need to know on or before this Friday, August 17 no later than 6 pm.

We will meet just North of the round-about on route 89 after you exit I-80. We will depart from there at 2:30 pm, drive to Graeagle and tour/visit the many small tourist businesses in greater downtown Graeagle. Our own Sierra Chapter member and wife (Brian and Toni Carl) are owners of the Red House Art Gallery in Graeagle. We’ll depart there about 4:45 pm as our dinner is scheduled for 5:30.

Finally, National Geographic Traveler named Gray Eagle Lodge as one of the Top Ten North American Classic Summer Lodges. And the food is great! Hope you can join us.
