Rocky Mountain Region of Porsche Club of America is hosting their annual Ladies’ Day DE on Saturday, August 10th, followed by a Novice DE (for both men and women) the following day. Both events are being held at the Colorado State Patrol training track in Golden. They need volunteers for both events, specifically instructors and corner workers. Volunteers will receive a free box lunch, and will be PAID.
If you’re interested in volunteering for Ladies’ Day, register here: 2019 Ladies’ Day Volunteer
Novice Day volunteers, please register here: Novice DE Volunteers
Do you want to participate? Ladies’ Day is sold out, but there is still availability for Novice Day. It’s a rare opportunity to drive this track, and take advantage of volunteer instructors to guide you along the way. At $105 (plus $10 non-PCA-member fee), including a box lunch, it’s a fantastic value! Pro tip: Sign up as a participant for Novice Day, and also volunteer as a corner worker on Saturday. That way, you see the cars on the track, and can get an idea of what it will be like when you’re driving!
If you’d like to register for the Novice DE, register here (registration closes on Aug 5): Novice DE
Finally, if you do want to drive at the Novice DE, please note that a tech inspection will be required. RMR-PCA is offering free tech inspections this coming Wednesday (July 31) at four locations, ranging from Centennial up to Fort Collins. You will need to have had your brake fluid flushed within 1 year of the DE date (Aug 11). If you have any questions, I (Scott Pedram) am also a certified PCA tech inspector, so please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected].
Hope to see you out there!
