Potomac Chapter welcomes a new sponsor, but a very familiar name. Matt Curry is back with his new shops Craftsman Auto Care, located in Alexandria, Chantilly, Fairfax, and Merrifield. Matt and his team are opening the Chantilly location from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm to Potomac Chapter members, their guests and anyone who are just interested in learning more about ACNA or Craftsman Auto Care.

8:30-9:00 am — Coffee, donuts, social, registration

9 am-3 pm — Tech/DIY time including complimentary HPDE Pre-Event Tech Inspection. There will be Master Techs available to assist, but bring your own tools and knowledge too. ** See below to schedule lift time **

12 pm — Tire mounting & balancing demo. SPECIALFREE mount and road force balance for anyone who needs/wants to buy tires at the event including Race Compounds.

1 pm — Alignment demo explaining caster, camber and toe and how they affect handling, tire wear, performance, etc.

Craftsman Auto Care is a full service diagnostic, repair, and tuning shop, so stop by to check it out. And, if the weather is keeping you from taking care of some basic maintenance on your car, sign up for some lift time to get that oil changed, brakes bled, pads swapped, or fluid changes done. There won’t be time to do things like replace control arms or do a turbo swap, but you can get that basic maintenance you’ve been putting off or the little track prep things completed for our Summit Point and VIR events.

Audi Club members, friends, and those who just want to learn more about their cars are welcome. Non-ACNA members are welcome to attend to socialize, enjoy the camaraderie and learn about the club, but cannot get lift time or be eligible for the specials.

If you want to schedule lift time or would like to take advantage of the tire or other specials and are not currently a member, you can join by calling ACNA National at 262-567-5476 or online here.

** If you would like lift time or a Tech Inspection, please email Tom K.with the following:

  • put “Craftsman Tech Day” in the email Subject
  • your ACNA membership number,
  • make/model of your car,
  • what you plan on doing, and
  • how much time you think you will need. We will be limiting time to 30 minute increments.
If demand is high, we may not be able to accommodate everything you want to do.

NOTE: All attendees must READ and SIGN waivers before entering the service area.
