2022 Board Election, Polls Close on 12/31

Audi Club Potomac-Chesapeake Chapter Members,

The Audi Club Potomac-Chesapeake Chapter has confirmed five candidates running for four Board of Director positions. This is your opportunity as a member of the Potomac-Chesapeake Chapter to cast your vote for the future of our chapter (we’ve also included a poll for a new chapter name). If you’ve ever been to our website, received an email from us, or attended any of our events, then you’ve already connected with at least one member of our Board. What you may not realize is that the Board consists of chapter members, like yourself, volunteering their time to support our membership. Additional information about each candidate can be found below.

I’m Nick, I live in Aldie, VA I have a 2015 Q7 TDI as my daily and tow rig along with a TCR replica 2018 RS3. I am active in the local car community, with other Audi enthusiasts along with being a member of another, local, car club since the beginning of 2020, of which I am the finance chair. I use my RS3 for road racing, under the team/group name Flom Motorsports. I am active on the forum Audizine, in addition to multiple Audi related Facebook groups, including both ACNA groups.
How will the chapter benefit from your service?
I have experience in event planning and logistics, having planned several various car events in the past few years. I also have knowledge on how to use various social media, managing my own platforms for my racing venture. I work in the IT cyber-security field for my day job, so I am well experienced there as well. I am also the finance chair of another, car club of about 20 members. If elected to the Board of Directors, my main effort would be growing the club by reaching out to younger members

I’ve been a longtime chapter member and DE volunteer. I love that our events are consistently highly rated by attendees. My husband and I are automotive enthusiasts and have owned a variety of VAG cars over the years. I currently own my third Beetle, and am an avid Beetle fan.
How will the chapter benefit from your service?
Over many years of volunteering at DE events I’ve learned a lot about logistics and operations of successful events that deliver good experiences for our members and attendees. I firmly believe that the attendee/member experience and customer service element is paramount to sustaining and growing our chapter. As a woman I bring a different point of view to the table in terms of diversification of our members as a goal for future growth.

I’ve been attending club events since 2012 when I bought my TT and started volunteering with our chapter a few years after that to help run and organize events. I’m very thankful for the friendships I’ve made through Audi club and enjoy chatting with people at events about the mods they’ve made to their cars (my side view mirrors are actually from a fellow member who upgraded!). I also enjoy driving back roads and believe that one of the best ways to take in a new location is to rent a car and drive around.
How will the chapter benefit from your service?
If elected, I intend to continue helping to organize fun runs, track, and karting events. I would also like to help the chapter grow more and make it easier for chapter members to volunteer and hold additional events that we will all benefit from.

I work as a Senior System Architect and have worked in the IT field for over 25 years. I have owned multiple Audis which include S4, S5, Q7, and e-tron.  I hold the Vice President role on the Audi Club Potomac Chesapeake chapter board and have an active role in the car community. I am the Track Chair for track events for the Audi club and also function as the Event Master for the Summit Point Season Opener HPDE. For the last 6 years, I have also led and managed the Shakes and Brakes fun run.
How will the chapter benefit from your service?
I have been helping the club since 2015 and continue to do so as the Vice President. I want to help the Audi community by helping them understand and learn about their cars. I want to increase membership by improving our HPDE for new drivers and at the same time help support new social events for non-HPDE drivers. I want to help improve marketing and help create content to drive more enthusiasts to the club.

I am avid car guy and was looking for my next car. I saw how  my brother was enjoying his B5 avant and remember Audi’s domination in IMSA with their Quattro race  cars. I bought a B7 A4 which was great until I drove a B8 s4 and realized that I need to have one. Within a few months I  picked up a 2013 B8 S4 manual that I personalize to my liking.  I have assisted my local chapter with HPDE events by helping with tech inspection and working pit out during the event.
How will the chapter benefit from your service?
Proved assistance by sharing my technical knowledge and continuing to volunteering at the HPDE events to ensure our attendees have a safe and enjoyable experience.  I also plan to continue working on sponsorship for our HPDE events and car shows.
