I started attending club events back in 2012 when I bought my TT. The inclusive and friendly nature of everyone I met through the club really drew me in. Audi Club events have become my go-to source of driving entertainment every year and I’m really thankful for the friendships I’ve been able to make through the club.
How will the chapter benefit from your service?
I recently started assisting the club more formally by organizing events and setting up infrastructure to help run things. In addition to continuing to help organize events, I think there’s more I can do to make it easier for the club to enlist more volunteer support and scale up the number and diversity of events we can offer our members.

I’ve been a VW/Audi/Porsche enthusiast since the early 80s.  Over the years I have owned a number of Audis from a Fox in high school and later an urQ, 4000CS quattro, C4-S4, A4, Coupe Quattro eS2, and two Q5s.  I was a founding member of the chapter in the late 1990s and helped grow the chapter to one of the country’s largest as President of the chapter over a period of 12+ years starting in the early 2000s.  I also served on the National Board of Directors for a term.
How will the chapter benefit from your service?
I have experience planning, organizing, and running a broad range of events including social gatherings, Tech Sessions, Fun Runs, and Driver’s Schools as well as building relationships and engaging with sponsors/partners, other clubs, and venues.  I think it is important to pull together all aspects of the club to appeal to as many members and potential members as possible.

I work in the IT field as a System Architect and Program Manager for 15+ years and I have volunteered and been involved in the Audi club for the last 6 years. I have worked on a number of Audi track events as well as managed Fun Runs and Social Events for the club. I have previous board experience in managing contracts and budgets. I have owned a number of Audi cars/SUVs and currently have an S5 and Q7. I am detail-oriented and have project management skills I can bring to the club.
How will the chapter benefit from your service?
In my volunteering duties, I have learned a number of things about the club and have the knowledge to directly support the club. I work directly with Audi dealerships and Audi mechanic shops to support the club. Growing the club and its membership is one of my key goals and I want to introduce specific events that target the Audi enthusiast (e.g Autocross and a “Learn/Modify your Audi”). I also want to utilize more social media tools to help grow the club (e.g YouTube).

I am an Audi technician with 15 years of experience and Master ASE certified. I worked at EuroWerks in Falls Church, VA for 15 years, I was the shop foreman. I’m currently working at RevTech Performance in Sterling, VA. I work on cars all day and then I go home to work on my model cars and RC cars so yes, I’m a car guy. I recently purchased an Audi S6 C4 “URS6” with 385K miles and I am tracking it. Not the perfect car to track but a cool car to track.
How will the chapter benefit from your service?
I would be of great help to keep everyone safe by making sure cars are in good mechanical condition before they get on the track.

Avid car enthusiast that enjoy watching motorsports (F1, IMSA, Pirelli, WEC, and World Challenge) and participating in HPDE events and Autocross.  Also working on my B8.5 S4 manual.
How will the chapter benefit from your service?
Good work ethic that likes to see things through to completion. Work to improve the chapter presence within the community by reaching out to other Audi members to get feedback on things that the club could incorporate to attack a wider sampling of the local Audi community.

— End Candidates —

To provide some additional background, Directors will serve a 3-year term and are eligible for a total of two terms. As this is our first election, the top 3 candidates will serve a full 3-year term, the candidate receiving the fewest votes will serve a 1-year term, and the remaining 3 candidates will serve 2-year terms. Assigning term lengths in this fashion ensures that future elections can be held annually for 3 of the 9 total Board of Director positions.

All Active and Associate members as of November 21st, 2020 have been sent an email with a link to the voting website. The election is being conducted using MotorsportReg.com. All votes received by 11:59 PM EST, December 31st will be tabulated and results will be publicized on audiclubna.org/potomac and via email announcing the new Directors who will begin in January for their respective 1-year, 2-year, or 3-year terms.

If you have any questions about our election or the club please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected].
