Nominations for the Audi Club NA Board of Directors - 2021

Let's start with acknowledging this isn't quite how we eventually want this page to work. But there are only just so many hours in a day. So bear with us.

You are here because you would like to nominate someone to be a candidate for election to the Audi Club NA Board of Directors (and sorry, no, you can't nominate yourself). You understand the jist of qualifications, enthusiasm, and time commitment it takes and believe you have a great candidate. Super.

If you have questions, email us at [email protected].  The deadline for your submission is August 30th - late nominations will not be considered.

To submit your nomination, please:

  • Talk to the person you are considering nominating. The Nomination Committee's contacting them shouldn't be a surprise to them.
  • Prepare a one, maximum two-page, letter outlining why you feel this person should be on the board. If others are helping you with this nomination, include their names and email addresses/mobile phone number.
  • Please include the following information in your letter:
    • Your name, membership number, email address, and mobile phone number. Also include the information for others who have collaborated and support your nomination.
    • Name, membership number, email address, and mobile phone number of the person you are nominating.
    • Confirmation that you have informed this person you are nominating them, and they approve of you doing so.
    • A brief history of their roles within the Club, including volunteer and leadership roles with dates.
    • A brief description of how they recently have made a difference to the Club (or chapter).
    • Describe, in your opinion, one skill or ability (of likely many) this person has that you believe above all else, qualifies them to be on the Board.

Audi Club and its chapters exist and grow through the passion and involvement of our enthusiast members. Maybe that is you. We have opportunities for volunteers at all levels, ability, and availability. This includes everything from helping out at a particular event through to ongoing team/committee work and leadership. Interested in helping? Just put your hand up and smile.

Board of Directors

The Club, through its bylaws and incorporation as a registered education-focused US not-for-profit, has nine directors. Each director serves a three-year term and three directors are elected each year. It is an important, unpaid position that guides the Club forward. More information can be found here.

  • Nominations open July 1st and close August 20th. You can volunteer yourself or nominate someone. Late entries cannot be accepted.

  • Your current Directors are listed in the back of Audi Club's own quattro Magazine. Please reach out to any director for more information and to chat about the board and roles there.
