Snake River Rally and Dinner Cruise

Audi Club Northwest is please to bring you the Snake River Rally and Dinner Cruise on July 16 -17, 2021.

Wow, what a year! Still hard to believe we pulled off last year’s 1st annual SRRDC. So we made some changes to help make it possible again this year.

Welcome to the 2nd annual Snake River Rally Dinner Cruise. Hopefully the changes will be just as exciting as last year. We moved it across the River into Idaho. We will be staying at the Hell’s Canyon Grand Hotel, formerly the Red Lion Hotel. The PH is (208-799-1000) direct to the front desk. Please tell them you’re with the Audi Club as they have a block of discounted rooms for us.

Many of us will be coming in on Thursday the 15th to rest up from the drive here. On Friday evening the 16th at 5 pm we will kick off the event with wine tasting and appetizers. At 7 pm we will be served our plated dinners. Then afterwards we can retire to the deck overlooking the Clearwater River for a relaxing evening.

Saturday morning we will start off with a drivers meeting at 8 am. We will go over the route for the day. At 9 am we will get into our cars and start a fabulous day of adventure. First we will travel up the Spiral Hwy to the top for pictures. We’ll be there around an hour. We will depart there and travel to Asotin, WA for a bathroom break. Approximately 30 minutes, maybe a bit more.

When we depart from the bathroom break we will travel up the Anatone Grade to the top and across the flats to Field’s Spring State Park. Please watch for the Park entrance sign.  We will enter the Park and turn around and go back to the parking lot of Chief Looking Glass Park in Asotin and have our catered boxed lunches there.

When we leave there we will travel back to ID to Hell’s Gate State Park and the Snake River Adventures tour boat. We will board the boat by 3:30 pm and travel up the Snake River to Garden Creek Ranch and Visitors Center for a catered BBQ dinner. Please bring your cameras as you’ll want to get pictures of the canyons wildlife. We will be there around 1 1/2 hours and then they will return us to our cars. We travel back to the hotel for an evening of great company and many things to talk about.

There will be ONLY 40 people allowed (NOT CARS), as we will be traveling on general roads and our photographer will be videoing parts of our travel. Please keep together as best you can. Hope we see you again next year.
