The Never Ending Mobius Rally (POSTPONED)

Date/Time :
May152021
12:00 am

This event has been postponed due to technical issues, please check back later this year for updated information.
A Mobius strip can be created by taking a strip of paper and giving one end a half-twist, then joining the ends to form a loop. Its boundary is a simple closed curve which can be traced by a single unknotted string, ending up at the starting point without crossing the edge of the strip.
This event is a Time-Speed-Distance rally, in which your score is determined by how early or late you arrive at checkpoints along the route relative to the “correct” arrival times, which in turn are based on average speeds dictated in the route instructions and always below the posted limits.   Or, you can just follow the rally route and enjoy the scenery.
If  you haven’t guessed by now, the route has many loops that tend to return to the same point. The rally will be about 100 miles long, with 50 miles in the morning and 50 in the afternoon. And yes, it will include about 20 miles of dirt roads. (Hey, it’s New Hampshire. We don’t pave everything.)
The rally starts at the Walmart parking lot in Hooksett, NH, exit 10 (Route 3A) off Route 93N. Check-in time is at 9:00 AM with the first car off at 10:01 AM. The route goes past pizza and sub shops, Chinese restaurants, McDonalds, Cumberland Farms and other gourmet dining opportunities, or bring a picnic lunch. The finish, near Route 89 in Concord, NH  will be approximately 3:30PM, with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd awarded at 4 PM.
Entry fee is $25 per car for ACNA and BMWCCA members, $30 for others, with no limit to the number of people in the car. Registration is via
