Scavenger Hunt Drive

Need to get out of the house? Want to have some fun? Go back in time and take a drive with the family? Then join NAAC for a late-fall, fun “Scavenger Hunt” drive, with a twist. No special equipment is needed for this event; just your car, good observational skills and a working odometer. Your team can have as many passengers in your vehicle as you wish (or will fit-Ed).

Prior to the start, your team will be provided a basic set of route instructions and a list of questions to be answered en route. The twist: the basic route may not be the shortest to get most or all of the answers. Your odometer reading will be verified as you leave the start and at an odometer check a few miles into the drive to provide a correction factor. The winning team will record the most correct answers and have the lowest corrected total miles from the start.

Starting Location: Park and Ride, Exit 8 on Everett Turnpike (Route 3) Nashua, N.H.

Entry Fee: $25 per car. (There is no limit on the number of passengers)

Registration:

Check-in: 9 AM, Drivers Meeting 9:30 AM

First Car Off: 10 AM (Cars will leave at 2 minute intervals)

Length of Drive: 110-125 miles (approximately 5 hours, including 1 hour for lunch).

Awards: Trophies awarded to top 3 placing teams

Lunch: You are on your own. The course brings you through downtown Keene NH, where you will find many lunch opportunities, or consider bringing your own.

Finish: Francestown, NH, with a socializing opportunity during/after. Please bring your own refreshments for the finish.
