Fall Rally

Come join us as we circumnavigate scenic Narragansett Bay, with an intriguing stop at the Newport Car Museum (https://newportcarmuseum.org)!

We’ll meet on Saturday October 13th at the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot at 1016 Centerville Road, in Warwick, RI. Plan on arriving at 9am-ish for a prompt 10amdeparture.

Our route will take us along the shore of Narragansett Bay, seeing everything from the working waterfront in Providence, to the picturesque and undisturbed shorelines along other parts of the bay. You could call this the “Uncovered Bridge Tour”, as we’ll be crossing the Henderson Bridge in Providence, the Mount Hope Bridge between Bristol and Portsmouth, the Newport Bridge between Newport and Jamestown, and the Jamestown bridge between Jamestown and North Kingston, as well as smaller bridges along the route. The Newport Bridge has a $4.00 (EZ-Pass accepted) toll, which is NOT included in the registration fee.

We’ll be passing through a number of scenic Rhode Island waterfront villages, and have incorporated a number of “catch up and regroup” stops and that icon of New England living, Dunkin’ Donuts!

The Newport Car Museum admission is included in the registration. Given the variability of our arrival there, we will be bringing our own lunches, and eating there. We will be stopping just prior to the Newport Car Museum at GogliaMarket, a fantastic deli in Bristol, so either plan on picking up something yummy at the deli, or bring your lunch with you from the start.

After we’ve all finished drooling over the fantastic cars on display at the Newport Car Museum, we’ll continue our circumnavigation. We’ll end up at the same place we started, at which point you can choose to head home, or join us after the tour for dinner at the Edgewood Café(http://www.edgewoodcafe.com).
