Test mules of the next-generation Audi Q7 have been spied again, and while it’s always interesting to look at test mule spy photography, that’s not exactly newsworthy. What is though is the detail about the relocated door handles we believe we can see in these photos.
Look closely at the camouflaged test mule and you can see black horizontal spots in the places where the door handles usually reside. Zoomed in shots though show that those horizontal spots are just that, black vinyl applied to the door skin rather than actual door handles.
Closer inspection around the window trims though appears to have been integrated into those spots for a cleaner look. There’s one by the C-pillar almost like the application way back on the first-generation Nissan Pathfinder 4-door, and another mounted horizontally within the trim just ahead of the B-pillar.
