New Directors Elected to Audi Club North America Board

Oconomowoc, WI – The Board of Directors of Audi Club North America announces the election of three new Directors for 2018. The new Directors are Christine Lemley from Potomac Falls, Virginia, of the Potomac-Chesapeake Chapter, Troy Sicotte of Oakland, California, from the Golden Gate Chapter and Gordon Varney of Paris, Ontario, a member of the Eastern Canada Chapter.

Audi Club President, Connie Johnson said, “I welcome our new Directors to the National Board. On behalf of our members, we acknowledge Christine, Gordon and Troy for their willingness and dedication to offer their time and expertise to serve our Club.”

“I’ve had a chance to meet Christine and Troy in the last few weeks,” reported Audi Club Executive Director, Paul Truess, “I talked with Gordon on the phone and look forward to meeting him in person.”

Outgoing Directors are: Connie Johnson, from the Rocky Mountain Chapter, has served as Board member for two terms since 2012 and as President of the Board since 2015. Aaron Plante of the Lone Star Chapter was elected to the board in 2015 and completes his term. Troy Resvick, a member of the Western Canada Chapter, was also elected in 2015.

“A sincere thank you to Aaron Plante and Troy Resvick,” added President Johnson, “Their contributions to our Club have been significant and greatly appreciated.”

Truess stated, “On behalf of the whole 2017 Board, we bid farewell to Connie as she departs the board, hopefully to spend more time with her Rocky Mountain Chapter. Thank you for six years of dedicated service to our organization. As President of the Board these past three years, she has committed countless hours, talent and passion to Audi Club North America. I hope to continue to use her expertise as resource for me and the club.”

Elections in 2017 for members of the Audi Club National Board of Directors to serve a three-year term were held online using a secure web site. Results of the elections were monitored and verified by the accounting firm Wegner CPAs.

The new Board members Lemley, Sicotte and Varney will be joined by existing National Board Directors: Bud Dannemiller (Kentucky Chapter), currently serving as Secretary; Ted Dannemiller (Georgia Chapter), Vice-President; Gregg Gumbinger (Golden Gate Chapter), Treasurer; Jay Morgenroth (Wisconsin Chapter); Roger Labas (Carolinas Chapter); Marcel Velazquez (Golden Gate Chapter).

The new 2018 Board will meet on January 30, 2018 to elect officers to a one-year term for the positions of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer.
