Whether you’ve heard the name of Ferdinand Piëch or not, the latest ICONS video from Hagerty’s Jason Cammisa is a must watch. In it, Cammisa retells the history of the automotive industry’s most illustrious godfather, and the man without whom the Audi ur quattro would have never made it to market. Sidenote (and not mentioned by Jason), Audi also wouldn’t have gone racing in Le Mans where it became the second winningest brand there (behind Porsche) decades faster than its corporate cousin competitor marque.
