State Meet A Great Success

Every year Lone Star chapter members travel from around the state for the annual state meet and this year was no exception.  This year’s three-day event, sponsored by Audi Grapevine, took place in Houston and was organized by local members Tod Phillips and Tony Oliver, and chapter treasurer, Barrett Lanier.  This planning committee did an outstanding job organizing hotel accommodations, member’s reception, celebration dinners, spirited country drive, car show, and car museum visit.  This year’s car show resulted in a best-of-show tie between Eric Howieson’s Voodoo Blue RS7 Performance and Julian Hang’s modified All-road.  The highlight of the meet was an amazing dinner and entertainment on the last night where 2-time international champion magician, Ben Jackson, mesmerized club members with unforgettable, magical feats.  Photographer and club member, Ryan Keating captured the entire meet through his exceptional photographic eye.

Summer Kicks Off

Lone Star chapter members will dive right into the summer with ongoing events and two very special occasions in June.  In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Audi Grapevine, an official sponsor of Audi Club Lone Star is hosting a member car show and cookout.  Finally, the state-wide chapter is invited to San Antonio for an evening of fun hosted by Rick Cavender and Audi Dominion where karting, food and drink were enjoyed by all.  Space is limited so email [email protected] to reserve your spot.
