I purchased my car March 11, 2017 from Audi Plano in Plano, TX. That day, I became an Audi fan for life. I was drawn to Audi because of their styling; the sleek lines and pronounced front grills were all it took. While I didn’t know much about Audi to begin with, I really liked the way they looked. Little did I know the levels of performance these cars actually achieve. A quick test drive in Sport mode and I shook the salesmen’s hand and said, “Take my money!” When I got the car, it was bone stock with 30k miles on it.
It didn’t take long for me to get the itch to modify the already impressive performance in making the car my own. I was also fortunate enough to be living in North Dallas, home to Blair Automotive! Ryan and his team have helped me every step of the way; from routine maintenance to performance upgrades and tunes. Through Blair, I was able to meet other Audi enthusiasts and started to attend various meet-ups and car shows. During one these events, I first learned of Audi Club North America. I attended a few events put on by the local chapter and had a great time. Everyone was very friendly and outgoing. It didn’t matter if you had a fully built racecar or a stock A3, we were all there because of our common interest, Audi!
In April of this year, my wife and I made the move to San Antonio, TX. I have been exploring the local car scene and find myself going to street meets about twice a week. I recently attended the Audi Club Lone Star Happy Hour Meetup and had a blast. It’s amazing how the love for a car can bring people together. I look forward to meeting more club members at future club events.
