Members of Audi Club Lone Star were invited to attend a meet and greet with Audi Sport drivers contesting the FIA WEC 6 Hours of Austin. The event was hosted by the Audi South Austin dealership. Also on display at Audi South Austin were two RS7s as well as the new SQ5.
Andre Lotterer (2011, 2012 Le Mans winner) and Loic Duval (2013 Le Mans winner) were on hand to talk about their experiences with Audi and Audi Sport Team Joest. The voice of Le Mans, John Hindhaugh MC’d the event. The R18 e-tron quattro drivers discussed the challenges of endurance racing, the technological aspects of the R18s, and their perspective on the track.
After the discussion, Hindhaugh and the drivers were available to meet, sign autographs, and take pictures.
