In 2021 ABT Sportsline will celebrate its 125th birthday. To increase the anticipation of the anniversary even more, there is now exactly one ABT RSQ8-R available for each of these years. This strictly limited model is the ultimate expansion stage of a vehicle that has already set a Nordschleife record for SUVs.
The ABT RSQ8-R firmly establishes its special status by displaying various exterior and interior upgrades. The aero package is a rolling flagship for the skills of the design department at ABT Sportsline. The full package comprises the following carbon fiber elements: Front skirt add-ons, front lip with add-on, mirror caps, side skirts, fender inserts, fender flares, rear skirt add-on and rear spoiler. Weight-optimized 23-inch flow-forming ABT High Performance HR wheels top off the exterior accessories. The rare RSQ8-R also knows how to make its presence felt acoustically by adding a stainless steel ABT exhaust system. With its four end pipes each measuring 4.7 inches (102 mm) it also makes a visual statement.
Performance is significantly enhanced with the optional high-tech unit called ABT Engine Control that increases the output of the sporty SUV from the standard 591 HP / 590 lb-ft of torque of up to approx. 690 HP / 649 lb-ft (using 93 octane fuel)*.
The interior even more shows the attention to detail that ABT Sportsline puts into its limited edition cars. This is demonstrated by elements like the carbon fiber shift knob cover, carbon fiber seat covers, start-stop-switch-cap and “1 of 125” lettering on the center console and door sills and floor mats with “RS Q8-R” logo. As a strictly limited edition the ABT RSQ8-R is all about offering a unique experience both in performance and presentation.
