It’s a great thing to know that enthusiasts will always look out for enthusiasts, especially now, and what better group of enthusiasts than Hagerty? We all know someone whose business is struggling. It could be the shop you take your car to or maybe even it’s your own. Hagerty may be able to help with that. This past Friday, Hagerty announced their Restore The Roar! grant program. It’s a program to aid small businesses in the enthusiast vehicle community. Grants will awarded from $5,000 to $10,000. They will be released in mid-May.

“These businesses and their talented craftspeople are the engine that keep this industry alive, says McKeel Hagerty, CEO. “If we can help keep a few of them afloat during this tough time, we’re honored to do so.”

The deadline to apply is 12:00pm ET Monday May 4th. There are a few considerations for the grant. A business must:

  • Be independently owned and operated
  • Have no more than 20 employees
  • Have annual revenue less than $5 million
  • Be 50 percent focused on the collectible and enthusiast vehicle industry
  • Demonstrate need based on the crisis’ impact on business
  • Demonstrate how the funds will be used
