Elections for the Audi Club Glacier Lakes (ACGL) Chapter Board of Directors (“Board”) are coming up next month. ACGL’s Board is comprised of nine chapter members who volunteer their time to serve on behalf of the community. Each Director is elected to a three-year term. Officer positions – President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer – are elected each year (typically in January) by the Board from amongst the Directors then in office.
We will have one open position on our Board for 2023. Phil Fortmeyer stepped in to complete a Director term for Shelly Roman in 2021. His seat is now up for election for a three-year term beginning in January 2023. Phil will be running for this open seat.
We are seeking additional candidates who have interest in becoming an ACGL Board member in 2023. Nominees must have been a member in good standing for at least two years. The Board holds a monthly meeting and Directors spend added time each month attending to various club responsibilities such as: event planning and execution, member outreach, sponsor outreach, social media and website management, driver education course development and maintenance, instructor training, etc.
