There is no doubt that the Goodwood Festival of Speed should be on the bucket list of any self-respecting car enthusiast. Effectively staged around a simple hillclimb, the event invites manufacturers from all over the auto industry to show off their greatest legends and their most impressive future tech…. all in one.
For Audi, the focus this year was the launch of the new R8 LMS GT2 racecar. Tom Kristensen was the pilot of the weekend for that new car, but other legends with four rings on their bonnets or on their racing suits were also thick throughout the weekend.
Though we didn’t attend the event, we have searched through our network for an impressive mix of pics from the weekend. In them, you’ll see the new Audi Sport RS 5 DTM, the 200 TRANS-AM, rally quattros, the Nurburgring-winning R8 LMS GT3, Emanuelle Pirro, Frank Biela and so much more.
