The Emerald Coast Region continues car-focused activities this month under the leadership of Bobby Hopp and Melisa Wilcox. The Platinum Coast continues to have events in the Naples and Fort Myers area. The Gulf Coast continues to meet at Audi Tampa on the first Saturday of the month. The Gold Coast will be at Cars and Coffee at the Miami International Mall on the second Sunday of the month and the First Coast is attending Caffeine and Octane ant the Avenues Mall the second Saturday of the month.
Be sure to check with our Prestige Partners ABT, Audi Clearwater, Audi Jacksonville and UroTuning for some good deals to get ready for Christmas.
Fixx Fest 17
FixxFest is now behind us. It was great seeing you all there. If you missed it, you missed it. It was another great event put on by UroTuning. Fun was had by all. Many brought home some awesome raffle prizes such as car parts, coolers, flags, gift cards, and one of our attendees brought home a set of APR Wheels.
The weather was great, food trucks were great, vendors were great, but the people attending were the best. A special shout out to Ali Welty and Kolin Upton for helping us arrange parking for our group of 40 plus cars consisting of us, CFL Audi Group and Audi Sport of Tampa who cruised in together; you folks are awesome and thank you.

Our priority is keeping you safe when participating in events representing or promoting the club. Audi Club of Florida is not willing to put anyone at risk. While welcomed to these venues, remember we are guests of the establishment or promoter and respect the rules. ACFL recommends obeying the most up to date guidelines and orders issued by the regions and governor concerning events.
ACFL still suggests using an antibacterial wipe, a disposable protective glove, a plastic t-shirt bag, or a dog poop bag as a barrier while using the fuel pumps to avoid potential exposure and dispose of it after fueling. Be careful out there and protect your health. #FlattenTheCurve
Member donations
Audi Club Florida recently received some donations contributed through ACNA for the chapter. Bob is in the process of trying to finalize the list of names and amounts from national. The new accounting reports from national as Bob explains below did not list all the names and amounts. When we get that squared away, I will send a personal note thanking you. If you contributed over and beyond your membership dues, it is greatly appreciated as 100% contributed comes directly back to the chapter.
ACNA Vehicle Purchase Discount Certificates
For those of you planning to buy a new Audi and utilizing the ACNA Member discount, contact the front office at (262) 567-5476 or [email protected] as soon as you plan to shop. The certificates expire at the end of the calendar year 2021 so if your order goes into 2022, you will need to contact the main office at that time.
We are trying to expand regional coverage but need your help!
Audi Club Florida has the most regions of any chapter in the Audi Club North America. As we continue this year, we are currently looking for leadership in the following area:
Gator Region – Gainesville Area
Thomas Brinkmann, the General Manager, of Audi Gainesville is ready to work with a representative to establish the region. If you are up to the challenge, let me know.
Many people have emailed me personally and through the national office to find out why there is not something in their area. I tell them assistance is required to help get things going locally. We desire to unite the state and have events within an hour’s drive of your location, at least quarterly. We are looking for some people who have the ambition to lead and desire to start something long term, helping arrange places to meet for lunch, activities, attend local car shows and coffee events, and other social activities.
If you would like to volunteer and help organize a successful regional club, please contact me for details, and we will discuss making it happen. If you want to become active to help your region with ideas and help assist with and organize events, with regional leadership I would love to have your help. This club is for you, so help us make it work for you.

Q4 initial car will be available for sale end of November; every dealer is only getting 1. So get your orders in for next year delivery. Q4 e-tron is will be available for slot ordering. We will take deposits and put you in line for when the ordering is ready, which has now been moved to January.
Need your car serviced? We are waiving our service at your doorstep fee and offering free vehicle pickup and delivery! The minimum service charge will be waived, continued through end of the year.
Looking to get top dollar for your Audi. Give us an opportunity to buy it. We need inventory, and we will pay top dollar for low mile, right optioned Audis. We will also give you $500 over any CarMax written offer.

Down the Road
Cars and Coffee Reeves Motorsports, December 4th, This is the annual Christmas Toy Drive. Cars usually start arriving by 6:30 and the event ends around 8:00-8:30. Please bring an unwrapped children’s gift which will be donated to enlisted service members families to help brighten their holiday season. Reeves Motorsports is located at 11333 N Florida Ave, Tampa.
One Last Thing
A number of you have been so kind as to have included an extra donation to the ACFL chapter along with your ACNA national renewal. For that, the chapter is most grateful. Emerald Coast Region – Panhandle
Emerald Coast Region-ACFL made its first ever appearance to FixxFest at its new host venue, The FIRM, on November 20, 2021. ECR was well represented by some of the best AudiFam travel companions I could ever ask for. I would like to thank everyone that made the short, but very long, 10+ hours round trip to come out and show support for the event. Special thanks to Matt Mulligan with cflaudigroup, Jorge Acosta with Audi Sport of Tampa (ASOT) and of course, Gerald Simms for the warm welcome and hospitality. It was an honor and highlight for me to lead all The Audi Club enthusiasts into the event with no issues. Also, I would like to congratulate Rafael Cabrera, Best of Show winner with his gorgeous green Cabby. Very well deserved and we look forward to seeing you at more ECR-ACFL events. More on our trip below as I’ve asked ECR members to share some words about their FixxFest journey and experience.
ECR-ACFL was also well represented at Pensacola C&C on November 27th with a 10 car line up and a great little lunch after to catch up with our AudiVentures.

Emerald Coast Region Rolls to FixxFest 2021
By now you’ve all heard me and others say, “The cars bring us together…the friends keep us coming back.” Well that certainly was and will be the case for me on a recent outing with the Emerald Coast Region.
As one of the newer members of the ECR following my recent move to Foley (AL), I had the pleasure of caravanning with six other cars and nine brave souls (to include two precious boys who accompanied their father) as we executed a 5 ½ hour drive from the Pensacola area to near Starke for FixxFest 2021 at the Florida International Rally and Motorsports Park (The FIRM). After starting during daylight hours Friday afternoon, Melisa led the drive that was done mostly in the dark as we traveled from one time zone to another with Gainesville our objective for the night.
After some much needed rest overnight in Gainesville, we climbed into our cars Saturday morning and headed to our agreed-to link up point with the Audi Club of Central Florida (with Matt Mulligan leading his group) and Audi Sport of Tampa clubs (with Jorge Acosta leading his group). This was a parking lot just 2 and 1/2 miles short of the The FIRM. Melisa once again led the way of our combined group with the ECR members located at key points in the caravan with radios to facilitate control of the group. The caravan that started with 7 cars from ECR on Friday became a force to be reckoned with of 40+ cars…all that made the last two-and one-half mile trek to The FIRM as a single group. Talk about people and their Audi cars!
All and all, a grand time was had by all both en route and at the event itself as can be noted by the attached pictures…and one I look forward to attending in the years to come when I once again am able to meet with both old and new friends.

There are car shows and there are car meets. But there are very few that match up to FixxFest! I had the opportunity to travel with the Emerald Coast Region – Audi Club of Florida to Starke, Florida for a trip to participate in FixxFest 2021. The entire experience was next level! From seeing other attendees that were checked into the same hotel we stayed, to seeing the endless builds from owners and vendors combined! Meeting with cflaudigroup and ASOT is a memory that I won’t soon forget either! Witnessing 40+ autos and enthusiasts in one rendezvous point was another reminder of why I joined Audi Club North America. The camaraderie is unmatched and the purpose is clear. We all enjoy getting together for the love of driving, euro cars, and memories. I’m looking forward to FixxFest 2022!”

Lastly, we finally have some interest in getting the Tallahassee area active! Working on figuring out an event we can make it to. It will be posted in our ECR Facebook group as soon as the details are worked out. Hopefully we can bring a crew of our AudiFam to welcome our new enthusiasts.

December Florida Newsletter from Platinum Coast Audi
Platinum Coast Audi Club would like to wish all our fellow enthusiasts throughout the state a very Merry Christmas and here’s hoping a Happy and HEALTHY New Year!!! We are looking forward to kicking off the New Year with a fun tour of a little known gem hidden away in Hardee County in Ona, Florida —think east of Sarasota. Solomon’s Castle was built over a period of many years by Howard Solomon a retired artist who created a world based on his imagination. In addition to the castle there are innovative art galleries full of pun-worthy gadgets and imaginative double entendre creations. There is also a collection of 13 pre-1935 automobiles —- could there be any rings in that bunch? Could there be an Audi Type A Sport-Phaeton lurking in the woods of Ona, FL? We certainly plan to find out! Of course we will be having lunch in the ‘Boat in the Moat’ restaurant on the grounds. So if you are reading this and you are not on our membership mailing list, give us an email at the address below and we will be happy to send you the details of our cruise into Solomon’s Castle from a meeting point in the more civilized part of SW FL. Our tour will be on January 15, 2022 starting at 11:00—look forward to seeing lots of new faces as well as our core group of loyal club members.
