The Emerald Coast Region continues car-focused activities this month under the leadership of Bobby Hopp and Melisa Wilcox. The Platinum Coast continues to have events in the Naples and Fort Myers area. The Gulf Coast continues to meet at Reeves Motorsports on the first Saturday of the month. The Gold Coast is will be at Cars and Coffee at the Miami International Mall on Sunday October 10th and the First Coast is attending Caffeine and Octane at the Avenues Mall October 9th, and visiting the Yalaha Bakery the following weekend. Also check with our Prestige Partners ABT, Audi Clearwater, Audi Jacksonville and UroTuning for some spooky good deals for the month of October to get ready for FixxFest.

It is the same great event, but with an exciting new location. Many of you are aware of the location. UroTuning is hoping to draw even more show competition from neighboring states; as well people who want have fun at the track. More details will given as they are “firmed up”.
Information from UroTuning about FixxFest
Volkswagen of America is going to be officially sponsoring the event. We are super excited to have them on board. The next set of 20 Race Tickets are going to go live October 1st for purchase. As with this month, there are only 20 tickets made available to allow everyone a fair chance to get one leading up to the event. We are giving away 1 FREE Track Ticket to anyone who posts an Instagram photo of their car with a caption of why they should win the ticket, and they MUST include the tags #racefixxfest and @fixxfest to win. Winners are announced at the end of the month.
Best of show tickets are still available at no limit currently, so the more the merrier! We do hand select cars at best of show based off modifications, style and overall look. The Selected Best of Show Vehicles will be notified and advised on further instructions about the show.
General Admission Tickets are also still available at no limit. Once again, the more the merrier!! We are planning on having a few different food trucks at the event, vendors of all kind, and BBQ’s are permitted as long as those who decide to bring food, snacks, drinks, keep their area clean of any garbage to respect the facility and keep the shine of FixxFest for any media people walking around.
In my coordination with UroTuning, the uncertainty of the new venue and attendance, group roll-ins are suggested if you want to park with specific people. We most likely will not have a specific Audi area available this year.
Our priority is keeping you safe when participating in events representing or promoting the club. Audi Club Florida is not willing to put anyone at risk. While welcomed to these venues, remember we are guests of the establishment or promoter and respect the rules. ACFL recommends obeying the most up to date guidelines and orders issued by the regions and governor concerning events.
ACFL still suggests using an antibacterial wipe, a disposable protective glove, a plastic t-shirt bag, or a dog poop bag as a barrier while using the fuel pumps to avoid potential exposure and dispose of it after fueling. Be careful out there and protect your health. #FlattenTheCurve
ACNA Vehicle Purchase Discount Certificates
For those of you planning to buy a new Audi and utilizing the ACNA Member discount, contact the front office at (262) 567-5476 as soon as you plan to shop. The certificates expire at the end of the month issued, so should negotiations lapse into the next month, you will need to request a new one to take advantage of the savings.
Second Annual All-German Car Show
Saturday, October 16th 10:00 AM — 2:00 PM
Guests can pick the amount they wish to donate, for their ticket. Proceeds will benefit a local charity—Dollars for Scholars. Which supports High School graduates continue their education in college or trade school.

Registration: $35 per vehicle.
Includes: “Show & Shine” of up to: 150 vehicles, The Villages German band (15 piece), Trophies, The Split the Pot and Door Prizes! Lunch can be purchased at Harbor Hills Country Club. Bring your own folding chairs.

Audi Club Florida has the most regions of any chapter in Audi Club North America. As we continue this year, we are currently looking for leadership in the following area:
Gator Region – Gainesville Area
Thomas Brinkmann, the General Manager, of Audi Gainesville is ready to work with a representative to establish the region. If you are up to the challenge, let me know.
Many people have emailed me personally and through the national office to find out why there is not something in their area. I tell them assistance is required to help get things going locally. We desire to unite the state and have events within an hour’s drive of your location, at least quarterly. We are looking for some people who have the ambition to lead and desire to start something long term, helping arrange places to meet for lunch, activities, attend local car shows and coffee events, and other social activities. If you would like to volunteer and help organize a successful regional club, please contact me for details, and we will discuss making it happen. If you want to get active to help your region with ideas and help assist with and organize events, the regional leadership and I would love to have your help. This club is for you, so help us make it work for you.

Last month, Emerald Coast Region-ACFL attended Pensacola C&C’s Cars Against Suicide Annual Charity event which a broke record with over 800 cars in attendance. Appreciate everyone that came out to support the cause on a gorgeous Saturday morning. Unfortunately, weather kept us from attending Destin’s Show and Shine the previous weekend.

Lastly, we finally have some interest to get the Tallahassee area active! Working on figuring out an event we can make it to. It will it be posted in our ECR Facebook group as soon as the details are worked out. Hopefully we can bring a crew of our AudiFam to welcome our new enthusiasts.

Can you believe we started this gig one year ago this month? Many of you were there at the initial Ft. Myers dealership C and C! We are looking forward to starting our second season with an eins, zwei, drei, gsuffa at the allegedly second largest American Oktoberfest. Sponsored by the German American Social Club in Cape Coral, they are confident (of course—they are German) that their Covid restrictions will continue to allow the celebration of the Munich spectacle to return after being shuttered last year due to Covid. We are planning to attend on Saturday, October 22nd. Please plan to join us for some authentic German Gemütlichkeit! More details as we get closer to the date. Saturday, November 13th at 8:00 am will find us back at the Ft. Myer’s Dealership for a C and C; and Saturday, December 4th at 9:30am we will have a C and C at Naples Dealership. Both will be followed by a mystery drive to lunch. FixxFest of course is the weekend of November 20th at the FIRM in the northeastern part of the state. We are planning a Christmas lights cruise through one of our holiday fairytale lands in mid-December. We are going to finally make it to Solomon’s Castle in Ona, FL, on January 15th. Of course we’ll be having lunch in the “Boat in the Moat” restaurant on the property. February 12th we will meet up at the Sarasota dealership for a C and C (time yet TBD) followed by lunch at the Alpine Restaurant. Now that’s a lot of dates—–so pull out those phones or that trusty appointment calendar and plug us into your plans. Hope to see everyone healthy and ready to enjoy a fun season of all things Audi!

FixxFest 2021 Tickets are on sale! They will be up for sale all the way up till the event on November 20th. There are three different tickets available this year: General Admission, Best of Show, and the newly added Track Ticket which includes some time on the track at the Florida International Rally and Motorsports Park ( The FIRM). We set the track up like an autocross style with a Point A and a Point B to preserve safety, but still allow drivers to take advantage of nearly all the track. Keep an eye out on the FixxFest social accounts for more details to come!
