The 62nd running of the Twelve Hours of Sebring

Many changes this year at Sebring, but many things the same. TUDOR may be in charge and the LMP1 sports cars may be gone, but there’s still a four-day party and we still have the best seats in the house (ok, other than club seats) at the Turn One Club. The Audi motorsport experience as always featured paddock and pit tours, Hot Laps, interviews and autographs, and an after-dark parade lap.

Four teams were there running five R8 LMPs in the GTD class, backed by Audi Customer Racing. The race featured more than its share of wrecks and more than five hours of caution flags – including the first red flag at Sebring in many years. In the end the R8s had battled into the top ten but not the podium.
